Work Smarter, Not Harder – Part 4
WOW – we’re completing the first month and a great fourth week of the program.
Almost everyone put a fantastic effort in using the multi-step Idea Generator to come up with new ideas for each step… I’ve learned a lot from you – reading all the comments and interactions…
Thank you for playing full on… and if you didn’t yet… CLICK HERE to do it NOW.
We have a couple of participants that didn’t join the action, and if YOUR buddy is one of them – I expect you – as their accountability buddy – to remind them to stay in line.
If you missed the Wednesday Q&As – yet… CLICK HERE to check it NOW.
It became my favorite day of the week – such a value exchange… DO NOT MISS IT!
And now it’s…
Time to celebrate
Remember – acknowledging, celebrating and “bragging” about our successes and milestones achieved is motivating for us and inspiring for others, and cheering others for their successes and progress is all about spreading love and kindness all around.
So today (like every Friday) – you get the opportunity to share your success or progress, brag about it while inspiring others.
This week is about the plan you came up with – your Productivity Matrix – and how you are going to implement it. Let us know, commit, and inspire all of us to go for greatness…

THIS IS WHAT I GOT OUT OF THE WEEK'S ASSIGNMENTS
I love and appreciate the manner in which the matrix facilitates me in actively identifying all news actions I can take to accelerate my business but also look at what actually works which I can do more of. And most important which actions holds me back or slows me down which I need to do less of or completely stop with.
THIS IS WHAT I BY MEANS OF THE PRODUCTIVITY MATRIX COMMITMENTED MYSELF TO IMPLEMENT
See the extract of day 5 /5 – put it all together in one “document”: NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP.
NEW
8) Work on my business on a daily basis
1) Write blogs on Happy Villages / B&B
MORE
5) Own up to my dream by formalizing my burning WHY
6) Get my manifest on paper (explicit) and out of my head (implicit)
1) Complete on the business plan for my Happy Villages project
LESS
5) Use time on social media not supportive to my goals
4) Spending time on activities / people which do not bring me closer to my business goal
12) adding too many tasks on my own name instead of delegating
STOP
4) Stop procrastinating
THIS IS WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM DOING THIS WEEK'S PROCESS
I've learned that the processes of both the IDEA GENERATOR as the PRIORITY MATRIX are very powerful when starting up or reflection on how healthy mu business is. And that in order to be succesful it is important to generate a heartbeat in using both the IDEA GENERATOR as well as the PRIORITY MATRIX. The IDEA GENERATOR I can use whenever I have a challenge for which a solution is desired. And the PRIORITY MATRIX I can use once a month for reflection on my activities for the last month.
THIS IS HOW I'VE CELEBRATED MY COMPLETION OF THE FOURTH WOMB WEEK
My biggest win this week was that I found a way to cancel my private lease contract. Thanks to my buddies, Nanda en Manny, I found a window of opportunity which until then had ben unvisible to me. I found the right words at the right time, making the impossible, possible based on mutual respect. This action will safe me € 36.000 over a period of 3,5 years.
I celebrated it by buying a cause on how to develop online trainings and webinairs by Celine Charlotte

I went through my 100 things lidt on friday and was very pleased by this weeks progress on implementing.
A bit less happy with hours won - but it is a temporary thing of 2 to 3 weeks. So I started a new start stop sheet for today on how to free up more time specificly. It seems both are not the same.
I celebrated with a drink and food in a skybar and 2 nights in a golf hotel. Was curious about that life style and the kind of people there.

WEEK 4 DAY 5 – CELEBRATION TIME
1. This week brought me some important insights into my own behaviour as well as how easy it is to change it, just by committing to implement.
2. THE MATRIX - in order of implementation

8. starting a business or collaboration with others (4 failures in a row)

3. publishing on Facebook; my clients aren’t there
7. going to sleep too late
*** implementation in progress ***
NEW
1. Delegating a part of the sales proces
9. Write a business book. First I have to do deskresearch and put together my irresistible offer.

4. How am I going to celebrate my completion?
I am going to read for an hour, just to relax and challenge my mind in a different way.

What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
Very wise to also think about what you are going to do less of and stop.
What is the Productivity Matrix (NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP) you commit to implement?
I am going to implement the less strategies in the coming week.
What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
That there are many ways to get more efficient.
How are you going to celebrate your completion of the fourth WOMB week?
I had a wonderful picnic today.

Woohoohoo. What a week!
1. In this weeks assignment I have given myself some very simple, easy to implement steps on how to increase my productivity
2. My new productivity matrix is focused on spending time on what I say is important through new routines and communication. And removing time wasters.
3. What I learned? I think this was the best idea generator week for me so far. I want to do it again, maybe in reverse order or all 4 in one day, because the less and stop sparked all these ideas for new and more.
Also, that I want a proper head set so I can make calls out of the car if I wanted to.
4. Celebrate. The whole sunday is about celebrating the new partnership with my wife. Both of our families are coming over to enjoy each other's company and the weather.
As for celebrating with my wife. I started implementing that the day I wrote it. We went shopping for the baby together and I bought the prettiest toy I could find her (I am sure she is going to love it more than the baby).

more, less, new...al things that can be done in the business
stop...al personal things. (fascinating)
What is the Productivity Matrix (NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP) you commit to implement?
bringing content (on social media)
What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
every week it deepens more that its all about details and take time to think them over.
How are you going to celebrate your completion of the fourth WOMB week?
I had a hole da to work with a carpenter. It was amazing

Nothing really executed this week as I am on holiday right now.
Came up with ideas this week that can make my business easier and more efficiently to run. Especially LESS and STOP are what I need.
Most of them need to grow an habit of awareness. I will write these down and put in front of me on my desk where I continously can see them.

What I learned this week.. is that it is a good excercise to think about my business in this way. It is easy to think what I can do new or do more. But stopping things or do less of some stuff is not so easy.
But I believe that it can be more powerful to make some right decisions.
I think I am in a good direction in my business. I already do less of things I did all by myself a few years ago. I am grateful that my VA is helping me a lot with social media, mails and newsletters.
So the next month I won't scrolling so. much on social media, and I deleted Twitter. And I wont buy any courses for the next month.
And I will make a summer offer als something new and something what I can do and '2 vliegen in 1 klap'.
How do I celebrate?
I notice it is not easy for me to celebrate while I know I am doing great! I do this tasks, I am working ON my business.
So tomorrow I see 2 of my best friends and I will 'cheers' with them.
Have a nice weekend!

Biggest revelation: I’m telling everyone, multiple times a day, I’m so busy!
The biggest difference: I find myself so stupid for being that busy.
Really need and want to change that. So, upcoming weeks I will be busier than ever. After that (before the start of the new season) I need to have everything sorted out and should rarely be that busy again.
Day 1 – NEW
I’ve created a birthday card and already sent the first one. I get automated responses from the provider and just have to make a personal text for my own designed card. Created my first promotional video for my new class. It’s very uncomfortable but that probably becomes less after a few.
Day 2 – MORE
More personal contact with students. Not sure yet how to do this besides the birthday card I already implemented. Gonna use the Idea Generator.
Asking for more reviews. Especially on video. Have some specific students in mind which I will plan to contact.
More research on membership continuation/quitting. I started a list. There already seems to be a certain age they quite often and an age group which tend to stay longer.
Day 3 - LESS:
Ad-hoc tasks. Need to plan more. Really bad habit.
Radom Social Media surfing. Blocked some notifications on my phone.
Keeping fewer ideas in my head. Write more down but not nearly enough.
Day 4 – STOP:
The most important thing right now for me is:
Stop skipping meals. I train a lot and my body needs food. Even if I eat I still eat too little. So skipping meals have to stop but also eating more so my body can handle the amount of training. I’m more focused on drinking more shakes for additional proteins. Also changed shakes so it’s easier and tastier to do so.
Considering the actual question: Starting new projects while I already have too many projects in the air.
I need to prioritize the projects and finish them in the best order. For now, I have to stop starting new projects. Thinking is OK but not doing them now. Going to make a list of big and small projects I’m doing and prioritize them. Also going to use the previous week's knowledge to see if I can delegate some projects (parts).
Conclusion:
So, lot of work to do for now. Hope I really learn from this. At least I’m aware now! Gonna celebrate with some early sleep.

It remains a powerful exercise for me. What I take them with me is how powerful the mind is. In the future I want to be even more aware of this.
How I celebrate
Now with our converted camper van somewhere in the middle of nowhere wild camping with my husband. We enjoy the silence of nature together.

1. What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
It made me seriously observe how I spend my time. I was already conscious but now I am super mindful of every minute. Because I have decided to work 4 hours or less a day in my business.
2. What is the Productivity Matrix (NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP) you commit to implement?
NEW: Facebook ADS for my book (delegated), Instagram interaction to gain new followers (to be delegated shortly)
MORE: IG Stories with engagement stickers, contacting for opportunity for guest blogging, podcast guest, IG live interview guest (to be delegated shortly)
LESS: Checking emails and social media only twice a day
STOP: I was part of a group of mentors, together we had a membership program, I have stopped this week because it was not beneficial
3. What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
Social Media, Emails, Whatsapp are a form for procrastination for me. I will be very mindful of every minute spent.
4. How are you going to celebrate your completion of the fourth WOMB week?
VIsiting my parents in law for th weekend!!!

Day 5
1. This week's assignment gave me the insight that I've managed to streamline my business processes in a nice way. After the lockdowns I need to restart the business again. Second trail in my business is developing the native app for IOS and Android, to support my students in their online courses - and as a backup for new coming lockdowns.
Other insight is that, because my focus wasn't much on the business last 2 years, its easy not to do things and postpone tasks I know I should do.
2. The productivity Matrix I commit to implement is:
NEW
Planning the day, the night before
Include health goals in this planning (drink more water, exercise more, more sleep)
MORE
finish app development
LESS
Can't think of anything to do less...
STOP
Stop wasting time on social media (and thus postponing tasks)

Day 4 – What to STOP doing
Stop wasting time on social media
Stop postponing tasks
My commitment this week:
Stop wasting time on social media (and thus postponing tasks)

Day 3 – What to do LESS of
I'm currently not very active in my business.
Can't think of anything to do less...

Day 2 – What to do MORE of
more emailmarketing
finish app development
reanimate old clients
Commitment for this week:
finish app development

Day 1 – What NEW to add
Create new follow up mail sequence for buyers of online courses, using ActiveCampaign
Planning the day, the night before
Include health goals in this planning (drink more water, exercise more, more sleep)
Create new introductionary online training for hotels/restaurants
Find supplier of wine samples
Write new email marketing campaigns
Commitment for this week:
Planning the day, the night before
Include health goals in this planning (drink more water, exercise more, more sleep)

WOW . This was another week with all kinds of thoughts and insights.
The more I thought about doing stuff Less or even Stop, I get also ideas about doing new/more things but then in a more productive way.
My biggest inside I had was during reading the Q&A of last Wednesday. It is important to STOP things and that is maybe even more important then starting new things. Besides that I need to see time as a limited resource and see what I can do in that limited time. Just like the page of toiletpaper 😉.
I will have a short holiday together with my wife the next couple of days. And thanks to @Bas I wil not work during those days (except for the things I really like to do (also to keep my mind empty)).

**What did you get out of this week’s assignment?**
A very welcome tool to use, having returned from a week-long retreat.
Good to zoom out on all aspects of my life, including business, and get an overview of what to focus on and what not to.
**What is the Productivity Matrix (NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP) you commit to implement?**
In general, more time for the here & now, the unknown and less worrying about survival (which is the root of obsessing over improving my business).
Seeing what's already there, the amazing progress I've made over the years and acknowledging myself for that.
Business-wise, this includes
- Working max 4 days a week
- Taking regular breaks, keeping the evenings free
- Being open for improvements, without acknowledging what's already there
**What did you learn from doing this week’s process?**
That it's very nice to create a summary of what I had in my mind already.
And to print it out and put it on the fridge, to remind me.
**How are you going to celebrate your completion of the fourth WOMB week?**
Eating an ice-cream tonight, and for tomorrow: having a day without setting my alarm and having nothing planned 🙂

1. This week I obtained powerful productivity insights and I have been empowered to search for the answers inside myself. Slowly, my way of thinking is becoming more strategic and I notice things are starting to flow smoother.
2. The productivity Matrix I commit to implement is:
NEW
• Create a balanced daily and weekly routine for life and business
• Ask potential leads what they want
MORE
• Engage proactively with potential and existing clients
• Use the Idea generator to give them what they want in a remarkable way (add value, build MVP FEBE funnel)
• BLOG
LESS
• ”Rub the work”, meaning reviewing ALL the work into perfection
• Look for answers outside (first try to answer myself)
• Study business in general (I commit to study only the relevant lessons needed at the present moment)
STOP
• Procrastinating/ delaying implementation
3. Q&A DAY has also become my favorite day of the week! There I learned that LESS IS MORE. To quote Nisandeh: "the LESS I DO, the MORE I GAIN". It simply revolutionized my way of thinking. Thank you Nisandeh!!!
4. This week I will celebrate by having a bubble bath with champagne

This assignement happend to be in my Vision quest week and I got a lot of insides.
I will celebrate by allowing me to take a long time checkout of the hotel and planning free saturday`s or monday`s once a month. Just me time and spend it as I want.

In summary where I take day 4.
NEW
11. An e-mail announcing to my clients that I am going to call them and ask them if they know someone in their network that I could meet without obligation.
13. I can approach new supervisors every week and ask them what they think is an interesting topic about which I can write a blog. In this way I make it easy to make contact and I know what is going on with them.
More
I'm going to interview a manager and make a blog of it. This will be my new system in which I take several parts at once. I know what's on their minds, I have info for my blogs and I make weekly contact with new executives.
Less
Less browsing the internet for stuff for my company.
Schedule appointments during the day that are private.
STOP
Start a day without scheduling tasks
Key Insight:
Approaching a new system of weekly managers for an interview about their leadership experiences.
For the rest, it has become clear to me that I do not waste my time on useless activities, but that my productivity suffers because I plan too little. That will be the biggest change to scheduling tasks every day from now on. This way I will be more productive and less tempted to do things that don't contribute to my business.
How do I celebrate this? By going on holiday for almost two weeks and enjoying it there. Yippie, my holiday has begun.

Massive action is still on track. Freaking amazing. Just one step at a time. The lists gave great new ideas.
Great win on the personal level with big and very positive financial implications. Grinding away for a second win there, no joy yet but it will come.. celebrated that big win yesterday.
Getting the assessment delegated in 15' was... OMG. The work on automations and templates is clearly paying off, as is my learning this years skill: find and work with A player jobstudents and fiverr contractors. That surely is worth a celebration.

1. What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
• The idea that I’m pretty well on track in terms of starting/stopping, and doing more/less
• A backlog of many more sensible things to think of to start / stop / do more / do less
2. What is the Productivity Matrix (NEW, MORE, LESS, STOP) you commit to implement?
• Start giving webinars (and start hiring people to help me with various aspects of that, plus start automating the lead generation for that)
• Start doing social media marketing for that
• Develop more digital products (incl. variations of current ones)
• Build in more engagement elements into my products
• Help others less, and be less pro-active in offering it
• Do less research (on anything)
• Stop being stubborn in not wanting to use trickery marketing
3. What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
• Although the assignment prescribes to elaborate the various parts of it in a daily dose of brainstorming, it is sometimes both much more efficient and more effective to do it all in one longer brainstorm session. Since when you start thinking about activities that (could) have a certain relevance to your business (good or bad), the flow of all the ideas comes in a scattered way, where you just have to plot them into the four categories. (And then, in a second iteration, it becomes easier to think about the isolated categories.)
• The finding that it is hard to think of radically quitting activities/habits
4. How are you going to celebrate your completion of the fourth WOMB week?
Date night with my partner tonight.

Last week's assignment resulted in a surprising blueprint of my working attitude. Sometimes even a bit shocked when I watch "Less" and "Stop".
What I immediately stopped doing is Pointless surfing on the internet. (Googling when I have nothing to do) Let me be honest about it; I even notice mild withdrawal symptoms. So continue.
What I learn here is that this does not have to be a one-time process. Periodically create a "NMLS Behavioral Blueprint".
How do I celebrate my victory? One of my intentions I posted is to read more about my topic. So I just ordered the book The Speechwriter by Renee Broekhuizen.
