Yes, i have a question:
When can you consider yourself an expert in your field, and what does an expert have to have comparing to others? In other words: what are aspects of expertise in your opinion Nisandeh? Its not only knowledge.....

The important thing to remember, Alma, is that expertise is in the eye of the marketplace and especially - in the eyes of your clients and potential clients.
It’s not important what you think about yourself or about your knowledge.
But what THEY think about it.
The way I see it… if you know more than your clients about a topic, and you’re willing to help them in that area with your knowledge and experience - then they will see you as an expert.
Of course, the more knowledge and experience you have, the more of an expert you will be perceived.
And you’re right, expertise is not just about knowledge.
There are three types of “expertise”:
1. Scholars - you read the books, did the courses, got the diplomas - that’s most “experts” out there.
2. Borrowed knowledge - you interviewed the real experts and you share their knowledge - for example Napoleon Hill who wrote the all-time bestseller “Think and grow rich”.
3. Masters - you did the work (the 10,000-hour principal), you kept experimenting, made mistakes and learned from them - not so many of us out there compared to the ‘scholars’ - but I’d take a 70-year old medicine woman’s advice over the advice of a doctor 5 years after finishing Harvard medical school - every day.

Thank you for the question Alma, quite the same as I had in mind.

It's fascinating about the mastership and 10000 hours. I don't feel a real master in anything although I have talents. But I realize I am able to reach masterhood in a combination of skills if I want and persist. Even in this life and although I'm 58.

In the last hotseat session you mentioned that you found it F**ing simple to make / create an association of conscious public leaders. I was happy, smiling and my head ran over with ideas.
With my buddies we created the first steps to come to an formal board etc.
Could you explain (again) why you said it like that to me? Why do you think or see the potential? And what would you do more / extra to develop / create that expert position in this field of public leaders and managers?

I said it to you, Alexander, because it made sense to me that public leaders and managers from different areas and disciplines would like to have an organized community, where they can share ideas, spar, brainstorm, have soundboard, and maybe just network…
Creating such a community (I’d call it an association) would not look like a commercial activity, but more of an organizing, empowering and supporting community.
Now… every community needs someone to initiate it.
And that someone, at least at the beginning needs to lead it (create the vision, recruit the members, set the guidelines, organize the first interactions, etc…)
That someone, automatically is perceived as a leader, and an authority.
I thought… who’s better for that, than Alexander…?
Make sure that you’re there to serve them… charge a reasonable yearly membership… deliver them regularly valuable content, and possibly opportunities to meet (online and/or offline) - as this is what a community is, and gently plug in whatever it is that you can do for them (after you gained their trust).
You wanted to create a community…
All I did was giving you a framework of a community that most businesses cannot easily create (I mean the ‘association for working moms who do yoga’ is a bit… pushing it), but in your case it’s begging to be created and maintained…

The program is in sync with my life 🙂
I was / am really stuck for a while. With the 6 main preliminary work that we had to describe 2 weeks ago, I can't figure it out.
Can you steer me in a direction that I know what I have to do.
I understand you're not going to write 6 like that for me. Would be very helpful.
And why should I choose this one?

Don’t worry about the 6 parts of your expertise, Leo…
The purpose of the exercise was to show you that the potential of your expertise is a lot bigger than what you think.
If you found that you can create a product/service for any of the 6 parts (or all) - feel free to offer it to the market.
I don’t understand what you mean by “And why should I choose this one?”
What is that “this one”?

Hi Nisandeh,
Every day I tell myself: Today I'm going to work on the WOMB .
And then the day is over and live happened. I again I didn't get to doing the work in this program.
I think it is because until now it only costs (time and money) and it didn't bring anything yet.
It's kind of the same as going to the gym. I know you need to go, but often I don't because, something comes up and the plan goes to 'maybe next time'.
And as with the gym: if you don;t go regularly, it doesn't work.
So I believe this program would be valuable if I gave it my all, but because it hasn't so far it is much more difficult to find the willpower to do it.
I have experineced that it becomes easier ones you get into the habit (speaking of the gym now) but with this WOMB program I have big difficulty keeping up the habbit (althought I did so the first few weeks.)
Do you have any strategies on how to get more productive?
(I had hoped to ask this question to Vered, cause I thought I was going to get a talk with her, because of getting 2 stars from 75 comments, but I never received any information about that....)

No wonder that it didn't bring you anything, Paul...
You need to do ALL the assignments, 5 days a week... and you don't.
I can only help you if you do - then we can figure out things to improve your results.
You don't need more strategies to get more productive.
You just need to decide it's important to you.
Make a decision that you don't eat ANYTHING before completing the WOMB assignment, and you'd be doing the daily assignment EVERY day or starve.
(our system shows that you've got an email for your mentoring session with Vered... Maybe it went to your spam folder. I sent the email manually now - let me know if you didn't get it)

Before eating.
Sounds good!
And yes, I got the email now. Thanks!

I like that one; do the daily assignment every day or STARVE.
It's a bit harsh but maybe also very usefull for me 'cause I recognize myself in Paul's challenge to finish all the assignments.

I’m using this mindset for anything I commit to do regularly, Henny.
If it’s exercise, meditate, walk the dog, write a blog, publish a video, learn Spanish…
If it’s something to do in the morning - then no eating until it’s done…
If it’s during the day or evening - then no going to sleep until it’s done…
Etc…
It’s a mindset.
We don’t forget to eat, we don’t postpone eating for tomorrow or next week, we don’t prioritize other things over eating.
Then why do we do that with other activities…?
Because they’re not important to us as much as eating.
So… let’s make them that important…

Dear Nisandeh,
I have read Paul's question and your answer with great interest. As you could see, I have performed every assignment from the WOMB . From yesterday I will use everything you have taught me to offer my 'virgins' a free training in exchange for answers. So far I have zero signups and for me this is a litmus test whether it is going to work or not. If it doesn't work this will be my question for the next Q&A: Why isn't it working?
For now I am confident that it will work. Either it will be a success or I still have a lot to learn.

The WOMB assignments are about working ON your business.
The idea is to get you used to invest EVERY DAY 10-15 minutes to work ON your business.
These assignment build the “environment” for success.
There are no WOMB assignments that are direct marketing or sales, they’re supporting the marketing and sales.
To explain… for example:
Publishing a video answering a FAQ ( WOMB assignment) is designed to support you building your expert position, NOT to bring you a new client.
Creating a client magnet ( WOMB assignment) is designed to give you a tool in your marketing efforts, by itself it’s not going to get you a new person on your mailing list.
Adding a WOW factor to your product ( WOMB assignment) is designed to make your product more remarkable, it can’t sell itself to a new client.
I trust that you already do the marketing and sales and product delivery IN your business… The WOMB assignments give tools to your marketing, sales and product delivery - to make it easier and more attractive… they don’t replace the actions you need to do IN your business.
I wish you success with your new action, and if it doesn’t work… please ask your prospects/clients WHY they didn’t take your offer, and bring this information to the Q&A.
