Until then…

Live fully, stay awesome,

  1. Hello Nisandeh,

As always, I am grateful for the assignments you come up with. I only have one question.

It would be nice to turn this topic around and strengthen cooperation with the supporter in us. How would you handle that?

    Thanks for your reply.

    1. The main point of this week's exercise, Manny, is to bring awareness to your sabotaging habits/patterns...

AND... make a plan/strategy how to overcome them when they "raise their head" the next time.

  2. Hi Nisandeh,

My main income at the moment is from my online courses (80-90%). In the past I did more live clinics internationally and I have done a few teamtraining days with horses in NL. I'm still hesitant to travel but I miss working 'live' with people, so in 2023 I want to do some teamtraining days again.

The ones I did were totally organic but with some bigger companies (Rabobank, Nike international). Horses are amazing to bring certain issues to the surface. Aside from those 2-3 companies I have only worked with individuals. This B2B is new to me and will need a different approach and a new way of defining and reaching new ideal clients. How would Nisandeh go about this?

    My ideas:
    - Activate and update my LinkedIn Profile -> how to find/reach out to people who would be interested? HR managers?
    - Create a website (in Dutch)
    - Contact training bureaus (like De Baak, Itip) if a leadership- or teamtraining with horses could be part of their program

    Any input is welcome!

    1. I am not sure, Lucie…

B2B is not my area of expertise, but more than that you have something very specific - which I wouldn’t know why companies would be interested in and who in the company to approach.

I would, however, look for companies that already did similar activities with horses, and contact them.
Find out who is/was the person in charge of buying activities and “interview” them to find out why/what/how…

Then you can start building a “profile” of your corporate ideal client.

I’m not even sure how to find those companies that did similar activities with horses - but maybe you can start with your old clients.

One thing though… as more and more talks about global recession are in the air… companies would probably cut spendings on non-essential activities.

I don’t know if this is already in the Netherlands, but if yes - you might want to reconsider working with B2B audience for 2023 or make sure that what you offer will be considered an essential activity…

      Just my 2 cents.

      1. Thanks for your 2 cents, Nisandeh!
Maybe I should do a resilience training with horses instead... Horses invite you to be present, to breathe, to connect.

  3. Dear Nisandeh,

At this time a year: last month of the year and during Christmas holidays I think and wonder what to do next 6 months. I have similar thoughts just before or during summer. Most pregnant question for me now I how can I put it all (my insights and my actions ) together. How would Nisandeh do this?

    1. I recognize this, Alexander.
I have the same during the last weeks of the year.

What I do - for many years now - is "inventing" a project I'm going to start on January 1st and go on for 6 or 12 months.

For this project I create a complete strategic plan with goals, strategies, planning, scheduling...

I tend to have several projects running parallel (e.g. business, health, relationship, language, garden...)

  4. Dear Nisandeh,

I have a some questions to understand you better if you do not mind:

    1. What was your most sabotaging pattern and how did you overcome it?

    2. What quality do you value most in yourself?

    3. How do you deal with setbacks?

    4. What are you most proud of in what you have achieved?

    5. How would you like to be remembered as a human being after your farewell?

    6. What is your philosophy/strategy to maximize your potential?

    7. What has the WOMB brought you?

    8. What influence has your environment had on who you have become now?

    Thank you for answering them!

    1. Let's see, Marcel...

I don't have "most" of anything in life.
I don't think it's a great way to categorize our lives.

      1. What was your most sabotaging pattern and how did you overcome it?
I had and have many sabotaging patterns... I don't give them power anymore.
      For example... procrastination...
I didn't really overcome it... I just learned to manage it, so it doesn't cost me too much.

      2. What quality do you value most in yourself?
I have lots of those... self-discipline, creative thinking and willing to make tons of mistakes would be on top of the list.

      3. How do you deal with setbacks?
I remind myself that Life IS... the setback is not personally against me, and it's probably not even a setback but just an expression of the path I'm walking.
(just like a river, or a snake, or a swamp on my path)

      4. What are you most proud of in what you have achieved?
Again... too many things to be able to choose most - my relationship, my daughter, living and working out of a vision...

      5. How would you like to be remembered as a human being after your farewell?
      That I actually cared.

      6. What is your philosophy/strategy to maximize your potential?
      Never stop challenging myself...

      7. What has the WOMB brought you?
The clear realization that I only want to work with ideal clients.

      8. What influence has your environment had on who you have become now?
Not sure what you mean by environment, but I'm definitely a coffee bean...
      See: https://youtu.be/I9GSi6o2UpQ

Hope these help... and thank you for asking.

      1. Thank you for your replies Nisandeh,

They are valuable and wonderful to read. I didn't formulate question 8 as clearly as your answer shows. The video is a very nice metaphor and contains a very wise lesson. It is indeed a choice we have in how we want to respond to what we experience on a daily basis. I also choose the coffee bean and learn how the things I experience inspire me to make something new.

An explanation to question 8: From birth we are influenced by our environment and the people we meet. You have shared with us before how the mentors in your life have influenced you. Who or what has strongly influenced you besides the mentors?

      2. Thank you so much for asking those questions Marcel and for taking the time Nisandeh to answer them.
I do love the film and do recognize that you are definately a coffee bean... something worth strieving for..... 🙂

    2. Thank you Marcel for asking these questions, and thank you Nisandeh for the answers. And for the story about potato, egg and Coffee Bean.
