Loved this workshop too.
As you know I was writing a book when The WOMB started already- but I have 2 other books in mind- and for one this is the perfect way.
Answer the public and morningfame both were great insights. I would love to be invited for the latter.
The way to combine video, book and other content in this way is fantastic.
You also gave the ‘gold in your expertise’ - combining it with this way to create content: WOW ! Inspiring. And activating.

Too soon,
I tried to use the two platform. But it did not bring me the right questions
I tried the Dutch words and English
Words around: reading, writing and mathematics.
But it does not work
201 comments

I uses the two links to find questions.
I used all kinds of wordsl like:
Lezen, rekenen en spelling
And also Reading writing and mathematic

Thank you very much for you workshop. Fast and valuable, just the way I like it.
I had to reserve a special time to go over it all.
My biggest insights:
That you can make a book about the top 100 questions my TA has.
And that you can find them in two great websites. That really blowed my mind away .

Thank you for the clear plan.
Biggest take aways: the trick with the letters behind the search word.
The whole idea of making a book from FAQ's.
I combined this idea not immediately for a book, as I decided that will grow organically, but with a video series called "Hey Guy, ... ?" And than the dots are the question.
So sorry that I did not implement what you asked friday. I made my own version this weekend with already a first video. And I already have an idea for the next video. Hopefully the ideas will keep on coming.

Loved the workshop last week. The biggest insight for me was how to get the questions for my book (simply ask, set up a Q&A-session, use the two tools). As a publisher myself (my services include editing, proofreading, formatting and publishing) I've decided to write my expert book about self publishing: "Self publishing 101" with subtitle "101 things you need to know about self publishing your book". If you have questions about anything related to getting your book out in the wild, please drop me an email (arjen@kingfisher-design.com). I'm happy to help out.

I LOVE that, Arjen - your title and tagline.
Very clever…
A bit embarrassed I didn’t think of it myself… 🙈

- In liforcengine there are 7 Fields with their own Field Experts. This Expert Book method is perfect to have them identify and answer the most important questions for their customers within liforcengine.
- If I interview the Field Experts about these questions, I also have the youtube-video's.
- All in all it is a great way to identify the questions about liforcengine as a whole and cement the group identity of the Field Experts.

My insights: customers especially want quick answers to a question rather than a lot of information about what you do. That's why a book works so well. If your name is on the book, that alone is a good advertisement for your business. Always write and talk in answers, that's what people remember. Speak the text and then write it down, that makes the book easy to read.

First of all, thank you for sharing this content with us.
One of my goals in the WOMB 2022 program is to write that expert book. Great to now have the knowledge and tooling how to do it. One of the insights is that I know how and can plan the work.
I love the sound of the term ‘burning questions’ and how to collect them. That is also a big insight. Yesterday morning Marcel, Bas and I already used the free tool two times. Great to see how it works.
Another insight is that I now understand how I can be that trusted advisor of my target audience within a hand reach. And present myself also in that way.
I wanted to ask how you prepare a book for amazone. I have an pdf of my book Het Geheim van de Gemeentesecretaris published in 2021. Is that enough to upload to Amazone or does it need more?
One other question I have is, what do you think of the idea to design for the books the same basic cover so it could look or be more like a serie or sequel. What’s your opinion about that? When would you recommend it or would not even bother about it. Is every book to you unique in its form and the way you use it?
I am also learning enormously in the training just by watching how you guide your audience, prepare them for assignments and seed your offer right next to your experience and wisdom. Every session with you I am slurping the way you communicate and teach. Watch and learn I tell myself. And I find myself saying same sentences (of course in Dutch!) during my trainings or when I lead groups in government organizations or do one on one mentoring. It helps me grow double. You will probably understand what I mean. It’s great to feel that double loop learning!
Please know that I feel so grateful to have you, Vered and this community in my life. Thank you very much!

You just made my day, Alexander, with your sharing and feedback.
THANK YOU so much.
To answer your book questions, I think the best person for that would be Arjen Brueze.
He's a WOMB participant, and he takes manuscripts and does all the work to make them into books, including uploading them to Amazon.
He took my books (as PDFs) and transform them into the format Amazon requires both for their Kindle (online) and physical books.

My biggest insights from yesterdaynight about making your expertbook:
1. Access to information is so much easier through internet and especially through big searchingmachines;
2. I knew about Aswer the public, but never thought about using it this way.........
3. Its almost a shift of paradigm, not writing a book but producing a compact informationtool that can be used for different purposes at the same time. Book, ebook, blog, vlog, podcast.
4. to make valuable educating content for videos will be much easier as well.
5. This knowledge about creating valuable content through questions and answers creates enormous possibilities in terms of presenting myself as an expert in all kind of areas...
6. You showed me Nisandeh, how I can easily reach a new level of possibilities in educating others, giving me an expertstatus, which can bring more clients to me.
7. I belief it will be possible for me to grow my business with this new knowledge and tools.

Hi Nisandeh,
Thank you for the inspiring workshop yesterday. I’ve attended the ‘Write Your Book in 28 days’ a few years ago but in this one you really took it to the next level!
I know the tool answerthepublic for some time, but never tought of using it in a way like this.
At the moment not planning to write a book, but I’ve got so much new inspiration for creating content. Thank you so much!
And I’ve registered for the live workshop. Looking forward to see you again after all those years.
Hug,
Jeroen

Thank you Nisandeh for the workshop. It was a blast!
The idea of an Expert Book that you shared gave me a lot of energy (I even couldn't sleep last night because of all the ideas and thoughts). I think it's a great idea and definitly can grow my expert position.
You always say that we have to implement. This time I really did it. In a Retrospective this morning I asked my team which questions they have about a Product Owner and already get 8 good questions. After that I posted a message on LinkedIn to ask for questions and already get some.
My biggest insights:
- The structure to "write" the book. Just by making videos (and I can use those videos to start a Youtube channel)
- The tooling to search google and youtube
- Just ask your clients (or team)
And again thank you. You gave me the energy to get this started.

It was very useful.
Today with the buddies we tried out the answerthepublic website. Guess we need to try more...:D but it is a great tool.
The other tool is even more grand.
Also. in some talks today I focussed more on: 'what's your questions regarding...'
Those three things stand out for me.
I also have ideas for a ton of other books... not gonna make them all... but that was inspiring.
thanks!

Hi Nisandeh,
It was such a great workshop! I loved it! Thanks again.
One question:
About step 6 (I didn't hear it well enough): do you recommend publishing through Amazon by using the POD technique?
My insigts:
* it took me some time to see the value in the FAQ approach, but now I realize it is brilliant
* the idea of being the trusted advisor as a book, always there when needed, genius
* using the two super tools so I can actually answer the questions people really have: extremely valuable
* and then using the video's as a marketing strategy on You Tube: it is stunningly beautiful in it's simplicity
By the way: I am still searching for my two words to describe my expertise with. Others suggested something like 'Retreat 50+' or something with the word 'reinventing'.
Looking forward to the workshop in January. Great opportunity for me to finally meet you in person, Nisandeh. This wil be fun :-).
Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Yes, Manny, I recommend to have your book published not just as an online book, but also physically.
In the past we needed to use print-on-demand (POD), today Amazon will do that for you.
You can contact Arjen from the WOMB (I shared his email with Tine and Alexander on this page) and he could explain the whole process in detail (that's his specialty, not mine).
I'm looking forward to meet you LIVE in January...

My biggest inside is that I can give the actual work for searching to my PA so I can concentrate on collecting and just speaking/filming and writing a book.I can switch to aany Highgifted related toppic and even use it for the book I am writing with my co workers.

Thanks for the amazing workshop last-night!
So many ideas on what to do it ran though my head afterwards and this morning 🙂
Biggest insights:
- Writing an Expert Book could be very valuable for me and I get very enthousiastic to do it
- With this solid and relatively easy process, excuses like 'I don't know how to do it' or 'I'm not sure what to put in' fall away
- There's a HOLY GRAIL for finding out what THEY want - with results much better than what I would come up with myself
189 comments

Oh....and being able to use the questions not only in a book, but also for videos, blog posts, so many other things, is fantastic!

Oh 2 ..... just booked the workshop in January....looking forward to it!

This is wonderful to read, Rens...
Go for it, while it's still hot in your brain...

And I booked the workshop as well. To be honest, I am a bit sceptical that you can deliver what you promised.
However, if there is only a little bit of the breakthrough you mentioned, it will be worth at least 10 times the investment. And if I get nothing, all it cost me is a trip to Schiphol and some money.
I will likely bring one of my clients along.

One last thing. One of the reasons I am also doing this, is because I promised at the start of WOMB I would take your next offers.
So another insight: I really have to start giving this rule to my clients. 😀
718 comments

OH... I have this weird habit... I tend to over-deliver on my promises, Max...
But... in order for you to see results - you're the one that needs to take the action.
I can only show you the way... (and I promise I'll show it loud and clear in January).
See you then.

My most important insight:
I already did a big part of this work. In my preparation for which blog posts to write, I created a process that is a lot like the creation process for the book. Writing a book this way will be even easier.
More insights:
- Text is cheap. Even though I love the writing process from the other book course, this way I can produce even quicker. Definitely worth the test drive.
- My area of expertise is not "coach website", but something like "web development" or "website building".
- Cannot wait for the video - book - blog combo machine that will be ready in four weeks 😀

I would love to be there and experience this live mini session with you. I am in the proces of working and publishing my 3th book so any inside you share will help me with creating this book i want to write for children. I have attended the 'How to right a book in 28 days' some time ago. It took me some time to actually write and publish the books. So grateful for all the valuable content you have giving me over the years so i found out my mission in live and create a better place for parents of traumatized children.

Ofcourse I will be there on januari the 13th! I can not wait to see you live Nisandeh! And for sure I believe this course will be a breakthrough.
My biggest insight from yesterday:
I can write a new book in a simple way AND just by searching on a way (thanks for the magic links Nisandeh) I can make video's about the most questions for my target audience / ideal clients. So in this way I will have video's I can use for my online programm, my website, my funnel, my youtube and for my new book to write.

Brilliant, Sigrid…
I’d love to see you in January.
It would be a great workshop - I really missed having live events - and I’m gonna make ir a day to remember… for all of us.
We’re still waiting for everyone who committed yesterday to be in January to actually book their place, but we’re pretty close.
And great to see your insight and the confidence you feel.

Oke and other affirmation:

I will make video's
I am an expert in the field of digestion complaints and food intolerance
I will help the best ideal clients

My Expert Book gives me a new perspective on book production. I will play around with Answer the public for a while to pass the test to see if I am an expert and know an answer to all questions. That alone is super instructive to then find and remember the answers. It is also inviting by providing answers to important questions to develop and maintain customer contacts. Thank you so much for the workshop yesterday, Nisandeh

Thank you Nisandeh for this super workshop. It had a great 'Of course this is it' content!
The plan to write a book was there for years, but where to start........
The biggest insights:
With the bookbinding books on my bookshelf I thought such a book has never been written.
So much easier to have a question answer book.
With ALL the answers in one book, instead of 10 books with a few valuable useful pages per book.
And in catagories instead of alphabethic order, because this would be easier for searching.
'not having to write' the book, but to dictate! Super, so easy for me and the shorter sentences much more accessible for my clients.
I realized that Google translate has a dictate button, I used helping Ukraine children at school. I will practise the first questions using that.
Cut and paste into another file and the first questions and answers will be ready to as an appetizer for the book in my newsletters.
The marketing research system you gave us is overwhelming. I had my first two edited searches with 'answerthepublic' already printed.
But I am looking forward to the MorningFA-ME video, this search system gives the most effective information like you said.
I am used to go to a lithograper and bookprinter and bind my own books. Never heard of Amazon publishing books, an eye opener.
And I found the Dutch link,
https://nl.wikihow.com/Een-boek-publiceren-op-Amazon
But you said something about Ian who is an expert in publishing or did I misunderstand?
I am trying to adjust my schedule due to January 13th.

Hi Nisandeh,
I woke up asking myself: would you still recommend to write a book using your method Write a book in 28 Days? If so, in which cases?
If I understood correctly, the difference between both types of books is that the "old system" book focuses in describing the expertise and giving valuable content, although not necessarily what people are searching for. On the contrary, the Expert Book offers a categorized and straightforward group of answers that people are "hungry" to consume.
After your workshop yesterday, I can not think of a reason of writing a book the old fashion way... Unless it is fiction of course.
Many thanks in advance for your reply,
718 comments

It’s a good question, Maru… and I’m not sure I have a definite answer.
To me, the main difference between the “old way” and “expert book” is the book’s purpose.
The “old way” - the book is going in depth to describe one problem/one solution.
For example, my Elements of Success teaches in 200 pages my system (SPICE) how to set AND get goals.
The Enlightened Millionaire book teaches the 15 steps you need to take in order to become (eventually) an Enlightened Millionaire.
If the purpose of the book is to teach/give an in-depth solution to a question/problem - then the “old way” is the way to go.
However, if the purpose of the book is to build your expert position in the eyes of your prospects and clients, then I believe the “expert book” format I shared in the workshop would do a better job - for a few reasons:
1. It covers a lot more of your expertise, and not only one problem/solution.
2. It gives them enough to see that you know what you’re talking about (1-2 pages), but not enough for them not to need you (a product/service that goes in-depth into their specific question/problem).
3. It gives them a reason to come back to the book over and over again, keeping you in their top-of-mind for longer.
4. It gives you dozens of opportunities to GENTLY “plug in” your other products/services (“to learn more how to use this tool, check out my xx product” or “if you want me to guide you personally in implementing this method, contact me for a free intake session”…)
5. It trains them to look at you as their personal, trusted advisor…
6. And, of course, when you record your answers on videos, you have a built-in marketing machine for both your book and your business, which I’m going to share in the next workshop.
I hope that helps…
576 comments

My insights: there is always somethign to learn, even though I am familiar with most of them.
For others: I use wreally for transcription. While using this way of working, I found out that writing for me is better than talking, but I do know that I am an exception. It is mainly because I am not a native english speaker and writing gives me more time to think than talking. That gave me btw an insight: I like whatsapp conversations a lot, and often more than phone conversations. For the same reason.
But the power of answering these questions... I LOVE it. I have my first 100 questions, but will create more. Can't wait to create youtube videos for that as well. Big insight again- and yes, I felt that one- how long did it take me to get to the point in my book? I am CERTAIN that it took me too long. And this way it is sooo pinpointing and focused. Can't wait to start writing again.
Other insight: never write about a statement but always about a question.
last insight: you only needed such a short time to get the message across... we could do the same with a book.
btw I use morningfame already for over a year and I LOVE it. For a YouTube channel this is THE ONLY app you need.

Dear Nisandeh,
Thank you so much for your wonderful and valuable workshop. It certainly opened my mind to new horizons and inspired me to create valuable content that people will “salivate” (😁) for.
Hereunder my insights:
* Ego VS Expertise
The expertise is NOT how we/want to see ourselves. The expertise is how we help/ serve others. Therefore the expertise needs to be formulated in terms/ words that people actually search for
* Ultímate Marketing research System
The tools you shared with us are absolutely mind blowing! But they just serve the purpose of facilitating the Marketing research system that reveals what people are searching for. Great validation tools!
*Nature of the Expert Book
The Expert Book is a different book. Its purpose is to be a life companion, a reference tool that provides relief to people’s problems by answering their most pressing questions. It is the “Expert” packed as a trusted advisor giving simple, short and straightforward answers.
*The Content Principle
Whenever producing any content, never write it as a statement, always write it as an answer a question.
*Write a book without Writing a word
By using amazing tools like REV.COM, one can transcribe a natural conversation (answer format) into an engaging and valuable Expert Book.
*Publishing a book is easier that generally perceived
With these tips and the right contacts/channels, publishing an Expert Book is easy and quick. Let’s put in in the hands of a great amount of people who can benefit from it.

Thank you so much, Nisandeh!
That was genius and thanks for chosing me as example! 🤩
I had the hot seat in a mastermind-group this morning and just got 53! questions.
I'll ask the people on my list and then I am ready to structure. 🤩
I would love to come in january, but there is a lot to arrange. We will see.
Can you tell more about the workshop here? It's easier to tell/copy-paste my business buddy.
Thank you!

WOW Cornelia - 53 questions… that’s amazing.
Speed of implementation… 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Great! Thank you!

Can you describe what the worksop is about? That makes it easier to explain it to a friend. Thanks
718 comments

Of course I will, Jellie…
But for today, I just want to make sure that everyone that said they’re going to book it, actually are going to book it, so I know the workshop is going to take place and we can take care of all the logistics associated with a live event in another country (for us)…
As soon as that’s done, I’ll create a page explaining the workshop - probably early next week.
In principle - we’re going to work on identifying, understanding and breaking through/getting rid of the “brakes” that stops us or slow us down when it comes to doing what we know we should do to become successful (e.g. procrastination, perfectionism, negative beliefs, fear of failure, fear of success…)
It’s gonna be a very interactive and experiential workshop - that’s why it’s LIVE as opposed to virtual one.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Nisandeh, I'll wait for that. No problem.

I found the simplicity AND the solidity of the whole process very powerful. Even while one of my books already was based on answering questions FAQ-style, and another was based on setting out 100 items in 2 pages. And still, your process was surprisingly fresh and strong. The part about structuring was a bit underexposed, but that's just an observation (it left no gap to me).

That's fantastic to hear, Machiel.
If you liked that, I think you're gonna love the YouTube strategy...
Simple, straightforward, effective... and no one is doing it... 🤷🏻♂️

Looking forward to that one! I've been considering for many years to start a channel, but only now (for particular reasons) I feel that the time is there.

Goodmorning Nisandeh,
I was very surprised to hear it can be that easy. I'm quite good with talking and explaining, but not in writing. I always have to look twice or more to see if I wrote the things I want.
Hope to be there at the you-tube workshop as well.
Have a good/nice day,
Marlies

Hi Nisandeh,
Nice workshop and good insights for for sure if writing is not your thing it works quite well.
Three suggestions:
After the tooling I would suggest you first take the step towards your own list or create a mindmap (free tools and payed tools available (eg. mindmanager).
Furthermore, to communicate: Zoom has it own transcription tool. So if you record on zoom, even an interview (for a blog post) or a group session it generated a pretty good transcription to process further, see:
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115004794983-Audio-transcription-for-cloud-recordings, but if you use it with others they should be fine offcourse, but you can also be with yourself ;-).
For the searches it would be nice to see the frequency of searches. Did not look at the tools in detail. Do they prioritize on frequency?
Nevertheless being successful with the suggested approach always come back to asking the right questions in the right order, terrible difficult for a lot people, even being an expert.
Have a nice day,
Marcel Ludema
718 comments

Thank you for the suggestions, Marcel.
I didn't know about Zoom own transcription... Would definitely look into that, but unfortunately it's not going to serve you for our purposes.
Since we want to use the video recordings to build a successful YouTube channel - then we want the highest quality video.
The quality you get from a good mobile phone camera.
And Zoom video quality is not enough for a YouTube channel.
About the frequency of searches...
As I mentioned yesterday, the Answer the Public does NOT give you this information.
However, Morning Fame give you all this and a lot more.
The green number I asked you to pay attention to in every search result in Morning Fame is the relative volume of searching (0 = no searches, 100 = tons and tons of searches).
About asking the right questions, you don't have to guess them anymore.
Simply answer the questions THEY want you to answer, and the two tools I gave you - make it completely clear.
I hope these are clear now...

My biggest 'problem' was not having enough to tell about a lot of FAQ subjects to fill up a full book. But getting multiple questions and spending fewer pages on the answer is more doable. Depending on my audience it might not become a real book but an E-book. But that's fine. For current students, I can make an in-depth book with lots of questions. Just letting people know I have such a book also helps to establish my expertise and maybe get some new students in.
I'm serving a small niche market which is Sibpalki 十八技. I already changed the name to Korean Kung Fu because Sibpalki isn't known at all (In Spain more people probably know the name than people in Korea). Martial Arts is a far more used term. 'far more' being an understatement.
Question: Isn't it much harder to be found, competing with thousands of 'Martial Arts' experts? (I fully understand being a Sibpalki Expert, no-one will really look for it)
Follow-up Question: Isn't there a way to leverage a term like 'martial arts' in combination with a more specific term like 'Korean Kung Fu'? Also, (kick)boxers, for example, won't gain much from my expertise. Or shouldn't we care about being found by people we can't help? The same goes for other businesses of course.

In your specific case, Logan, I doubt an expert book (or any book, for that matter) will serve you.
I don't know your target audience, but if those are teenagers or young adults - those are generally not the people that would READ a book to get information.
No point in writing a book for people that don't read.
You have a very visible form of "art" - so video would be the natural medium to show your expertise.
You still need to find the search term people are looking for, to create videos for.
And I would definitely find the most common search terms for Martial Arts and create Sibpalki videos for them - emphasizing in the "content" of the video the differences and advantages of the Korean Kong Fu as opposed to the normal "martial arts".
We can discuss it further in (and after) the next workshop 'My Expert YouTube Strategy'... On the 27 of October...
But until then, think hard if a book makes any sense to your specific target audience... and if not, drop it...
Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your 2 cents... I get richer every cent I get 😉
Within Martial Arts you can even get awarded Dan grades (Blackbelts) by your association, as appreciation for sharing your knowledge. Mostly after 4th or 5th Dan. I'm not part of an association, but higher-graded masters most of the time have a book published at some point. So, just having a book, any book, puts me in a league with them. (I'm 2th Dan) So having a book profiles me probably 3 grades higher than my current grade for the outside world. For that matter, I do see a lot of value in publishing a book. Making an expert book for my students probably will be called a manual.
Fun fact: Sibpalki is the oldest Asian martial arts which was the result of writing down the fighting system in a book/manual. The FRIST warfare book in Asia.

In that case, your purpose is different.
Again... it all starts with WHY.
If you want to write a book like that, maybe you should focus on the questions that everyone is asking about "martial art", and then show how Sibpalki is different/better than the "normal".
This way you "promote" Sibpalki to the general martial arts interested/enthusiasts...
That could definitely gain you points for sharing your knowledge (and what you don't know - research - make sure to watch the research part in Write Your Book course in the Business University: https://nisandeh.com/write-your-book-in-28-days-lesson-05/

My biggest insight is that I can and I shall write an expert book! So, the "... writing a book is not for me ..." and the "...hmm, perhaps I should maybe write a book some day..." are from my list. I understand the difference, and the difference in importance, between writing an "interesting" book about my topic (quite a challenge) and writing a book based on answering questions.

That's great to hear, Rudolph...
But, I think it's more than that...
Especially for you.
You are an amazing presenter and answering those questions on video, with a bit of extra thought... you can actually not only answer their presentation and public speaking questions, you can also demonstrate how authentic, fun, exciting and valuable can be presentations.
So, you're delivering twice the value for them, AND for you (simply ask at the end of each video, "would you want to learn how to be this easy and authentic when presenting? Contact me for a...")
I think you're gonna love the next workshop about building your expert YouTube strategy.

Thank you Nisandeh, that is very inspiring.
About the next workshop. Just to be sure; it is all about strategy and not about how to film myself and how to behave on video. Did I understand that correctly? I hope so, otherwise I have to wait for an other four weeks to start.

The workshop is mostly about strategy, Rudolph, but I’ll give you my best tips about how to film yourself.
And more important - I’ll tell you what to include and not include in a YouTube video (for example - intro - yes or no, interaction, call-to-action, etc…)
If you’re ready to start recording, I wouldn’t wait.
Start while you’re hot.
You can always edit out things that shouldn’t be there, or add stuff in graphics…
The more experience you’ll have with making those Q&A videos before the workshop - the better…

Thank you for yesterday's valuable course, Nisandeh.
My biggest insight is the power of getting crystal clear about your expertise. "Light bringer" and "coach" have kept my expertise hidden. I shall claim something more specific and "googable". Thank you and until next time!
