  1. Dear Nisandeh,

There are three questions I have wanted to ask you from a long time. They are somehow related to your Resilient Blueprint workshop tomorrow (can’t wait).

Please feel free to don’t answer If you don’t see them fit in this WOMB space.

Or perhaps it is more fitting to answer them tomorrow at the workshop? 🤗

3 Questions about the Purpose of Life

    1. What is for Nisandeh the Purpose of Life?

    2. What do you live for?

    3. What do you die for?

Many thanks in advance for your reply 🙏

    Maru

    1. 1. What is for Nisandeh the Purpose of Life?

      To fulfill my potential.

      2. What do you live for?

      Everything.

      3. What do you die for?

      Nothing.

  2. Strategically: did we miss/ forget something?

    For the new programme we:
-have a questionnaire to send before the first session, to get to know the participants and their needs/ wishes.
    - a first meet-up session to get to know each other.
    - a complete planning/agenda for the programme, starting in January.
    - a general lay-out for the workshops and some ideas for topics (which can change according to the questionnaire outcome).
-Of this layout we have a basic design for a pdf/booklet/online notebook, which will be made by our graphic designer
-webdesigner will install a plug in for a platform, (tips on which, like from WOMB ?)
    - we are playing with the idea to invite other experts to team up.
    - we are braining about what’s the deal after the programme,
    - we know when and what to mail for the programme (like reminders, home work, assignment days).
-braining about making every session WOW .

All this very abstract / zoomed out.

    1. That’s a lot of things, Bas…
I can’t answer specifically for you.

But in general I’d look to make sure you have 4 things in place:

      1. A remarkable front-end product/service;
      2. A back-end product/service (remarkable would help with referrals, and is a must if you want to sell another back-end);
      3. A way to bring qualified prospects to your front-end;
      4. An irresistible offer to convert people from your front-end to your back-end.

If you have these 4 in place - you’re golden.
      Everything else is just details.

      1. Thank you!

        I think I do.

        1) the card set is seen as remarkable, not done in the business and people love it
        3) There was the deal to buy 15 sets and we come give a workshop- this will need to develop in another way also.
        2) The program we are building now, not yet remarkable- building that, referrals homely will come too then.
4)The offer was irresistible, as a beta version: 1/8th of the price, they took it at the spot- we are thinking of what to do with the price now and how to raise the value by adding fantastic stuff. Also designing the WOW in sessions.

Is this what you mean with these 4 things? or Am I missing the point?
        (How)Should I challenge myself?

It is passed wednesday- I can ask this in next wednesdays also...

  3. Dear Nisandeh,

This week I stood still thinking about the vertiginous World’s speed of change. More than ever before, it is a HUGE challenge to remain agile, adapt and stay relevant. In business it is Change or die.

    Questions

From your experience of owning multiple business and constantly being reinventing yourself (and your relationships):

    1. How does Nisandeh know when it is time to change?

    2. How do you choose the content and the source of the things/skills you need to learn in order to remain relevant?

    3. From your ideas of new things to implement, how do you choose the ones to implement?

    4. What is your best advice for small business owners to deal with change and remain relevant/successful?

Many thanks in advance for your reply,

    Maru

    1. To answer your questions, Maru…

      1. How does Nisandeh know when it is time to change?

In my case, it’s the opposite - how do I know when it’s time to stick with something (as I’d prefer to change something major every single day… sometimes twice a day).

      But it’s the same…

I look at what IS… and I ask myself, “is this supporting me, my vision, my business, my family, my community, the world…?”

If the answer is “yes” I’d probably stick to it for a while longer (before asking the question again).

If the answer is “no” then making some changes becomes a priority.

      2. How do you choose the content and the source of the things/skills you need to learn in order to remain relevant?

I would never (again) bother to learn any skill that wouldn’t serve me for at least 5-10 years ahead.

For example: public speaking, copywriting, growing food, fixing stuff - are all skills that would serve me for a long time.

On the other hand: SEO, FB ads, Instagram marketing, etc… - are skills/knowledge that changes by the minute and won’t be relevant very quickly - I’ll leave those to people that this is their “thing”.

      3. From your ideas of new things to implement, how do you choose the ones to implement?

I’ll evaluate what’s the ROI of each idea and choose to implement first those that give me the highest return for the least amount of investment (time, effort, money).

      4. What is your best advice for small business owners to deal with change and remain relevant/successful?

      Focus on serving your clients.
They are your source of income.
Become the only viable solution for THEM.

      Hope these help.

  4. Hi Nisandeh,

On Friday my computer crashed (is now at Mac repair shop). My latest back-up is a month old, so lost my last month's work. Somehow I don't have access to my YouTube channel. I have managed to stay out of 'panic mode' but I feel my resilience is being tested and it's hard to stay positive and trust the process at the moment. Then this week in WOMB is about new products and new marketing strategies.

There are some voices in my head saying different things:
    1. You got what you wished for, less computer time. Take advantage of this time and relax. Everything will be fine.
    2. That's pretty convenient, a great reason to continue to procrastinate! Buy a new computer, finally make your funnel, make an offer, sell some courses and get yourself out there!
    3. It's a sign, you're not doing what you are supposed to do in this lifetime. You're just playing with horses, start doing something 'useful'
    4. Why bother making money. The world is going to change as we know it, money will be worthless anyway.

    Long introduction. My questions:
    * Do you have any advice how to figure out what 'voice' to listen to? Which one is my authentic self?
    * You mentioned before something about starting a side business to prepare for what is going to happen in the world. Can you give some examples?

    1. Sometimes when this happens, and I realise it, I just choose ‘a voice’/ way of thinking- and see my reaction to it (in my guts).

When I feel repulsed it’s not the way to go, if I feel apathetic it’s not the way to go, if I feel at ease, relaxed or enthusiastic it might be the way to go.

Or else, when I feel like rushing, I take a step back and relax, going counter intuitive. And just breathe. Well, you work with horses - you know..:)

Hope you are doing well. Hug

      1. Thank you Bas, I appreciate your feedback. It was actually a nice thing to just 'sit' with each voice individually...

        Hug back

    2. There are two ways you may look at what’s happening… Lucie…

(There are probably hundreds of ways… but here are two of my favorites)

      One is practical

Remind yourself of your vision (your final destination) and ask yourself for each of the above scenarios, “which one is going to take me further to fulfill my vision?”
This should be quite easy to determine which is the voice that would support you the most.

The second one is more philosophical

Realize - that it doesn’t really matter.
You can pick any of the voices and follow its advice.
There are no mistakes in life…
Each voice will simply lead you on another path.
No path is better or worse than the other, they’re just different… with different lessons, different outcomes, different people to meet…

      Breathe in, breathe out…

    3. About the side business, Lucie…

I think after the workshop “My Resilience Blueprint” you will be able to see why I mentioned that, and get clarity of what types of (side) business you might want to consider…

  5. Hey Nisandeh,

we are in the laboratory right now and plan a new Idea.
Would you again ask the ideal client how they think about it. (befor developing it)
In my situation `I think of an implementation program after the training.

    Maria

    1. Personally, I would probably invite my ideal clients to a Pilot of the new program with a reduced price in return for their feedback and input (before, during, after).

This way you make your ideal clients - your partners.

Similar to the way we did with the WOMB .

  6. I block a bit for the new ideas because I'm going to implement all the current ideas right now.

Still, I'm curious how I'll get there. I feel like I finally have a real focus and purpose and all plans and action to do. I believe in that and fully trust that this will work.

And yet the question triggers and I would like to break through it to come up with new ideas.

I think I have often learned to think in black and white. And preferably spacious and oversee the larger plan and many steps forward.

YES what is the question now? I want so much to go full on. I also sometimes have the problem of having to meet the messster's question and where do I go?

I know my question is not very clear and as you may want it. This is what comes now because in recent weeks I also regretted that I don't seem to have any questions, all because I think I should first do what I have to do now. And that is something that is not pleasant because it is precisely thinking further and perhaps even taking steps at the right moment.

Please share your views on this and possibly some tips and clarification.

    1. I wouldn’t worry, Leo, so much about new ideas - if you’re already implementing new stuff.

The point of this week’s assignment is, for those of us, who keep doing business as usual for a few years - to realize that part of working ON your business is keep experimenting with new stuff.

But when you’re already doing new stuff - then you’re already doing it.

  7. Dear Nisandeh,

What was your most successful marketing approach and what is your explanation why this approach was so successful?

    1. It’s not a secret strategy, Marcel.

The FEBE funnel (Front End, Back End) is the main marketing strategy I’ve been using and teaching for over 20 years, and it haven’t changed.

It works because it gets prospects to know you, like you and trust you with minimum risk to them.

I’m starting a completely new business now, and the heart of it - is still the FEBE funnel.

You can learn all about it in the Master Entrepreneur course in the Business University.

      1. Thank you Nisandeh,

Obviously I didn't phrase my question properly. I'll rephrase it or I won't understand this week's assignment to come up with ten new marketing strategies/tactics. I know the Master Entrepreneur course and also the strategy that you have been using for 20 years.

You used the same strategy for 20 years and did it yield the same result every time? How big were the differences in revenue with which you sold products/services? I want to know why one approach yields more than the other approach, despite the fact that you apply the same strategy. I want to gain insight into why one approach is more successful than the other. Thanks in advance for your answer.

        1. I’m not sure I can answer that, Marcel…

FEBE worked EVERY single time… not only for me, but also for anyone I know that actually implemented it correctly.

Revenue and profit depend on your product/service, pricing, target audience and other factors.

FEBE simply makes sure that your prospect get to know you, like you and trust you faster than any other marketing strategy I know…

But there are so many things to experiment with when it comes to marketing - both strategies and tactics.

          * Communication medium - email, WhatsApp, phone, physical letters/postcards…
          * Communication frequency - daily, weekly, monthly…
          * Front-end pricing - free, free + shipping/lunch/travel expenses, low price, free unless you don’t show up…
          * Different types of client magnets
          * Different types of front-end offers
          * Different irresistible offers (most businesses don’t even have an irresistible offer)
          * Back-end pricing
          * Different ways to get traffic to your client magnet/front-end offer
          * Trying to attract different niches within your target audience…

I can go on and on…

You’ll never know what works for YOU and YOUR business without experimenting.

          1. Thank you Nisandeh,

It's all true what you say and what has become clear to me over the past year is what matters: That's your way of looking and thinking. It's your potential. It is your creative mind. Give someone a piece of paper and a brush and one will make a beautiful painting and the other will leave some streaks on the paper. I learned how to hold the brush and what it can do on paper. I will have to experiment a lot before it becomes a beautiful painting.

Yet even with your students it appears that only a small group has succeeded in making beautiful paintings. I would love to know what these successful students have in common with you. Something in your potential, creative mind, you have in common with each other. How much I would like to learn from that, because sometimes it's just a little different holding that brush. I used the brush and paper metaphorically to clarify my search.

          2. It’s really simple, Marcel…
And I’ve said it in every possible way, already.
Do as many experiments as possible. Make as many mistakes as you can as fast as you can.
            What’s left are the masterpieces.
            It’s really that simple.

  8. For looking into the future and what could happen and then be prepared for it.

When the internet is completely shut down. I have and think many have a business that runs through the internet.

When the internet would stop what next? What is my business without internet?

    What would nisandeh do?

What would nisandeh do if he is in the bicycle industry like me and likes to share his knowledge and experience like me?

    1. The internet is a very, very, DEcentralized technology.
For the whole internet to be down for an extended period - something very serious needed to happen.
And if that something did happen, I don’t think your main worry would be your business.

But theoretically, in your case, you’re delivering your knowledge/expertise through the internet.
Simply make sure that however you package your knowledge (video, text, audio) - keep backups of them.
If the internet disappears from existence, people would still consume information (as they did before the internet arrived).

      I hope that helps…
