  1. 1. From this week’s assignment I got more clarity on the things I want to finish/ optimize by the end of 2022

    2. From this week’s process, I learned what Kaizen system is and how to apply it in my life / business 😃

    3. I celebrated the completion of this WOMB week by going to the forest with my family and enjoy fresh air, nature and animals 😌

  2. THIS IS WHAT I GOT OUT OF THIS WEEK's ASSIGNMENT
As the last two weeks WOMB assignments had some similarities I believed I had little more to write about. But once I get going and set the timer, Kinda Works areas just pop into my mind. Eventually creating a big list. The interesting thing about repeating this kind of assignments, is that your business starts to grow on me in a different manner. I start to "own" it more and to "know" it better and to understand how I achieve more my adjusting just a few things which eventually will make me want to do more.
I feel that I love to work on my assignment. Based on all that I've learned this past year, I approach suppliers, customers, my business etc. in a different way. I day to ask more, to negotiate more, and I become very creatieve in the good sense of the word.

THIS IS WHAT I LEARNED FROM DOING THIS WEEK's PROCESS
I have learned that eventhough I have achieved more that I imagined last year, I know that there are still alot of improvements to be made. And I recognize that there will always be improvements to be made when I take the time to get to know my business properly.
I also realise that I am going to miss the daily assignments, the QÂ sessions, the Friday celebrations and the community so very, very much when it ends at the end of the year.

THIS IS HOW I HAVE CELEBRATED MY COMPLETION OF THIS WOMB WEEK
Next to celebrating that I've completed my WOMB week I am also very happy to annouce that I have put my whole house up from rent 3 month before the deadline. And I have welcomed by first 3 quests in my house today for a periode of 2 weeks.
Not only have a put my house for rent but I've also managed to make my house ready for rent, which was a lot of hard work as I have so many thing gathered in all the bedrooms, but I managed 1 month before the deadline. So I am very, very happy that I've managed to complete it and thereby increasing my business.

I am celebrating it my mentioning it on this site. And I will treat myself by staying in a hotel tomorrow night when I return from Munich.

  3. The first two days were easy but planning made it more difficult. The scary thing is that during WOMB the things to do are loading up and what a good mix between WOMB and dmb (doing my business). The Christmas break is no real Christmas break. It seems I will be having less project in January. Let's plan wisely. Will print out the many planning stuff that are now reserved, and re-plan the planned.
Celebration come right now with a nice bottle during diner in little more than an hour.

  4. This week I got a clear plan, dates in my calendar and my topic for the 1:1 with Nisandeh 🙂
I am now on my way back from Venice to Vienna. I had a fantastic time with my friend Karina with a lot sightseeing, Bellinis and great food. 🙂

  5. What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
Untill today I was struggling with choosing the subject for this weeks assignment, to find a subject which is not artificial. But now I realise the answer is right under my nose. It's about changing informal care for my mother (84) and her best friends, (a household of three adults). They get older and really get health-issues now. Last weeks her mobility gets worse and it won't improve enough.
Today and tomorrow the assignment is rolling out of my pen and I'll post tomorrow. It's also related to my work&business, because if I don't structure the challenge of informal care and related issues, together with the other people who are part of the puzzel, it will affect my working life more than needed.

What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
    I'll post tomorrow.

How are you going to celebrate your completion of this WOMB week?
Yesterday we went to a concert from Carel Kraayenhof, and afterwards we had the chance to meet him and talk, f.e. about his project in the North of Argentina, to provide schoolchildren with renovated bandoneons (instead of learning to play on cartonboxes). Which was very inspiring.

Today we had a very pleasant family-gathering because of son-in-law becoming 40.

Tomorrow afternoon, I have time for myself and will use it partly for putting my Kaizen-thoughts about the subject of informal care on 'paper'.

    1. What I learned from the assignment of this week:
I'm relieved by following this assignment that it helps to make a complicated subject less complex or even simpler and transparant,
and it is a good manner where more people are involved; I feel it will help to get my group of people in one line in a harmonic way ánd it will help to share goals, tasks, insights, communication. What I like very much is that Nisandeh says that it's about small steps ánd that everybody can contribute. I think in the subject 'informal care' with the people whom is taken care of and the caretakers, that's a very important point.
I have the feeling that I can also transfer the kaizen to communication and problemsolving at work and use it in all kind of situations where goals, communication, actions and results stay to vague and nobody (with mandate) really takes responsibility in that proces.

  6. What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
Cleaning up the laptop and pc not only gives extra space on the harderive but is also feel free in my head.

What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
It is easy to let go of everday working on your business and fall back to old habbits but the feeling of doing it dos feel way more better!
As I have to do a EVC traject to make sure I keep my regestry for working with childeren under governement contract I have to put a lot of wrirting to paper in the next 16 weeks and I realy find it stupid, useless and it says nothing of me beeing a good cargiver. It only says that I can write a good report. So I am in full resistance mode and I will use the working on it every day for 30 minutes to finisch it.

How are you going to celebrate your completion of this WOMB week?
By just doing what ever I want to do in a lazy mood 😉

  7. This week took a big dive deep deep down into realization things have become really difficult and poorly organized:
    - cash position has become increasingly difficult, incredible amount of money into stock
    - unavailability of certain products is extremely severe
    - doing everything in my business is way to harsh

    Investment:
    - clarify position
    - cancel a project for brainstorm + working on requests
    - visit a supplier-fair
    - make some important decisions together with co-workers
    - had some (a lot) short nights

    Realisation:
    - I am asleep on a few important area's of my life/business
    - I wake up and take care of myself
    - start working every day improving
    - I did assignment of the week no matter what

    Celebration:
    - I just opened a can of beer
    - tomorrow I will go to our boat with the kids and sail a little around for last time this season, then get it out of the water
    - meditate + go to bed early this weekend

    1. It’s a good thing you are now aware that you have to step in.
In your projects you have a “getting things done” mentallity. Now you need this in working on your business. Get the right structure and delegate some tasks.

      Happy sailing 😉

  8. Yesterday morning I had 996 subscribers to my YouTube channel, so I was checking every once in a while and when I had a 1,000 subscribers I made a screenshot and then posted it on my Facebook page. I mentioned that I was going to celebrate because I reached a 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. I said I was going to give away 5x free access to some of my mini-course, the only thing people had to do to win was to subscribe to my channel and write a comment under the video they liked best. This added views, comments and about 30 new subscribers in 1 day. So yesterday I was in celebration mood.

Today I opened my computer and the screen was bright PINK. Computer did not respond anymore, cold start did not work, can not access any files. Going to repair shop on Monday. A few years ago something similar happened (also a crash) and I was in total panic mode. Today, I did not feel any increased heart beat or any panic. I actually smiled as I recently mentioned that I spend too many hours behind the computer and not enough time in outside in nature.... The fact that I didn't panic actually also felt as something to celebrate...

So to celebrate I read a book for a couple of hours. Haven't taken the time for that in quite a while.

    1. OMG, I would flip, great it didn't impacted you that much. Hope all is ok with it.
Life is giving you what you need. Take care and enjoy your book. 🙏🏻🧡

    2. WOW Lucie, congratulations on reaching the milestone of 1,000 subscribers. Well done.
And compliment for the balanced manner in which you reacted to the crash of your laptop. It sounds like working with your horses put you into a mindful state of mind.

Good luck with your laptop tomorrow.

  9. 1. What did you get out of this week’s assignment?
That if I do the work step by step there are lots of great opportunities.

    2. What did you learn from doing this week’s process?
Ask myself the Kaizen questions on a regular basis while implementing.

    3. How are you going to celebrate your completion of this WOMB week?
A nice hot bath a good meal and enjoying a good arthouse movie at home.

  10. This weeks proces deepened the awareness of the importance of planning together with working on my business every day a bit.
Things I find difficult (I face one by one) Everyday a little step. It's all about the proces.

celebration: dinner with family tomorrow (in a nice restaurant)

  11. I have been sick halve this week.

In combination with the last two weeks a clear plan has erupted. In which the first steps have been set.
In two short workshops ‘context over content’ was practiced. Crowd loved it- first connections to sell the new programme.
I need to focus on being better at a call to action in the end. But it’s there, now grow it.

I have asked a writer to help me finish the last bite of the book. I m really not good at that- and since I figured out that I need help with these things- it’s a huge step for me.

I stopped certain work that I did that didn’t give me (enough) energy. Also a huge step, because it also feels that I let people down and ‘I should try harder’- which is false.

Further I took time off to be sick- which I didn’t do for the last two weeks- so it was necessary- my health was too much down. Weirdly enough, that also is a huge improvement, because I normally continue, solving it in a weekend.

I also continued doing the declutter Friday- which resulted in 20% of my books being put away.

I eventhough I did not contribute in this weeks assignment so much- I had an epiphany and went with that- i am happy with these steps. I am lighter and more relaxed.

That in itself is a celebration. But I also celebrate this weekend with a little gift to myself and cooking.

    1. That are great steps Bas!
And now we have the right focus I’m pretty confident the results will be there soon.

      Take care!
And does the gift start with a L…? 😉

  12. My main insights are that my contributions to my company are starting to look more and more like a system. Those are also the words I remember of Nisandeh from the Business Bootcamp : "You need a system!"

By optimizing I continue to build on a new basis. Outside of the appointments made, my agenda is filled with recurring activities such as blogging, making videos and creating campaigns with ActiveCampaign. The systems that ensure continuity and recognizability in the hope that my new opt inn will work.

It is not more work but more intense and effective. Because of the book course I write my blog in two times five minutes. Searching for and posting photos on the website now takes the most time. I get more energy from it I notice.

How do I celebrate this. I bought two bunches of roses for my sweetie who looked surprised at me with the roses in my hand...

  13. Before I share my insights in a new post I would like to thank Max Hirschel for the incredible work he has done on the videos of the book writing course in 28 days. What a monk's work and he doesn't do that for himself, but everyone can benefit from it. Really impressive, Max! I take a very deep bow to you. Fantastic job and you show what a beautiful person you are!

  14. Celebration day

    Get out of the assignment
That there is a lot of work to do and that there are lots of great opportunities.

    Learn from the process
It’s good to think about the topics you wan to improve. Doing this with kaizen will certainly help us. Besides that it showed me you don’t have to do the kaizen immediately but also can think a little bit about it and then plan something in advance.

Thanks Vered for the coachingssession yesterday! It was very helpful.
Last Tuesday, Bas and I gave another cool workshop in front of 30 product owners. The people participated enthusiastically and here again a number of people immediately got into the action. Goal achieved!
After the session we had very interesting conversations that will certainly be followed up.

Tomorrow we will have a nice day and do some fun stuff with the children and close the day with eating pizza from the pizzarette.

    1. Great to hear Henny.
Also inspiring to hear you had this coaching with Vered, looking forward hearing more of your insights in the buddy session next Monday

  15. Sorry but I have to vent this right now and I'm really, really excited.

The Brabant Aquademie has invited me as a speaker by e-mail this morning at 10 am. They were tipped off for this by someone. I don't know who that was yet.

This is my first success that I have been looking forward to so much. 🙏🙏🙏🥳🤭

      1. Thank you Nisandeh, Maybe this will help me get a new organization as a customer before the end of the year. I will use everything I learned from you!!!

      1. Thank you, Marie-Louise,

But unfortunately I am a bit disappointed. I was in contact with them yesterday morning and it appears that they have approached several speakers. At the end of this week they will let me know whether or not they choose me.

I do have a chance because of a high favor factor and I owe that to my ideal customer. Several managers have indicated that they want to promote me, because they are being approached by them. There is now a new manager within the organization of my ideal client who recommends one of his employees to be coached.

I also know by whom and why I was tipped as a speaker by them. Nisandeh inspired me in that. I concluded the last training by sharing my personal view on behaviour. I copied the sharing of something personal from Nisandeh. Apparently that was the reason for a participant in this training to nominate me as a speaker.

This has released something in me and inspired me to new ideas. Apparently there is an audience that wants to hear this story. I'm going to work on this anyway and am now looking for an opportunity for a try-out.
