Do NOT skip or postpone this week’s assignment!

I will be there for you during the Hot Seat session to help you fine-tune your message, until it shines…

So this week, you’re going to create your POSITIONING STATEMENT.

Let’s start with your MINDSET…

STOP EVERYTHING YOU DO for 27 minutes and watch this video…

Set your GOAL for this week…

Here’s a great goal for you:

I am going to create my positioning statement by answering the 4 positioning questions.

How’s that for a 5-day challenge?

Choose the STRATEGY you will use…

Here is the 5-step process you could follow in order to demonstrate your expertise in a LIVE Q&A session:

  1. Answer the WHO question;

  2. Answer the first WHY question;

  3. Answer the second WHY question;

  4. Answer the WHERE question;

  5. Put it all together.

PLAN your actions in your agenda…

Your next step is to physically plan this process in your agenda.

Plan to invest 10-15 minutes EVERY DAY in the coming 5 days to follow the process above.

Today will take a little longer, as you MUST watch the video above (27 minutes). However, answering the WHO question shouldn’t take you more than a minute or two… So, grab a cup of your favorite drink… and do the right thing… Watch that video!

Now it’s time to IMPLEMENT…

Take 10-15 minutes, right now, and…

  • Day 1 – Watch the positioning video and answer the WHO question in the comments below;
  • Day 2 – Answer the first WHY question starting your answer with the words “I BELIEVE…” or “WE BELIEVE” – no other words can start your answer.

Make sure to post your answer, exactly as you’d say it, in the comments below.

    (If you’re not sure how to answer that question – go back to the video of yesterday);

  • Day 3Answer the second WHY question – making sure you’re not becoming ‘like everyone else’… it’s your own personal journey that allows you to answer this question.

Make sure to post your answer, exactly as you’d say it, in the comments below.

    (If you’re not sure how to answer that question – go back to the video of day 1);

  • Day 4 – Answer the WHERE question – this one might be tough… Give it a fair try… We will spend the next whole week on answering it even better…

Make sure to post your answer, as rough as you have it, in the comments below.

    (If you’re not sure how to answer that question – go back to the video of day 1);

  • Day 5  Put it all together.
Choose if you want to change your website’s About Me page to your new positioning statement, and/or your LinkedIn profile, and/or create an About Me video…

Then make it happen, and post the link(s) in the comments below.

Each day share with us in the comment box your ideas, actions and results.

My commitment to you…

  • I’m looking forward to read your process and ideas below;

  • I will be there for you on Wednesday to support you with any question, challenge or setback you encounter;

  • I’m looking forward to celebrate your progress and results on Friday (I’m curious to hear the goal(s) and plan you’ll come up with).

Live fully, stay awesome,

Nisandeh

  1. Week 17 - Day 4 of 5

    Where?

I want to create a large network of conscious public leaders for officials and executives of government organizations. Civil servants who realize that they work in government organizations where their role is to serve democracy, but are not themselves. Do not engage in politics themselves, but stand for their best advice, for the best implementation at the service of the inhabitants and for the best management: guidance and attention for their officials, civil servants.

  2. Week 17 - Day 3 of 5

    Why?

I have been working at and for the municipal government for 25 years now.

As a manager and director (municipal secretary) with ultimate responsibility, I have worked for 18 mayors, 10 councils of mayor and aldermen and more than 30 aldermen.

I have fulfilled these leadership roles at 10 municipalities and 3 large joint ventures of municipalities.

I was often successful and I also had my failure experiences, which made me better at my profession.

I know how to simplify things and make them manageable in complex administrative environments and social tasks.

I like to teach, train and transfer my knowledge and experience to directors, executives and young professionals.

  3. Week 17 - Day 2 of 5

    Why?

I believe that leaders of public organizations should be trustworthy and be the best leaders. They take their responsibility to give the best guidance and attention to the civil servants or public professionals to provide excellent service to every citizen and not to waste tax money. Therefore, leaders of public organizations (administratively complex organizations) should proudly and confidently take their place/position and play all-in.

  4. Week 17 - Day 1 of 5

    Who?

I help (future or starting) executives, directors and city secretaries to be the best manager / leaders for their organization or organizational unit. In such a way that they are able to fulfill their leadership potential (talent).

These men and women, ages 35-50, struggle with their false modesty. They are shy and insecure about their current role towards colleges of mayor and aldermen. They want to move more easily and comfortably in politically/administratively complex contexts. They want to lift their public leadership to a higher level and remain authentic (working) from their role.

They don't automatically rely on their leadership talents and don't fulfill their potential (or at least not fully).

They need new handling repertoire, skill and confidence. Or they need help to realize collective leadership and cooperation between their civil servants, employees, public professionals with their management.

  5. Day 4 – Answer the WHERE question
Where do I want to go. Or where do I want to take people?
I want to show people how easy, how much fun and how necessary it is to be more conscious about sustainability. It is easier than you think. I will not do so by pointing fingers or by making people feel guilty. I stay positive, because every step is important. Babysteps, one step at a time. It is a journey and every person decides how fast he/she will go. There is no end to this journey, there is only the first step and then staying on track. So where do I want to go? Forward.

  6. Day 3 – Answer the second WHY question
Why am I qualified? I have been an entrepreneur since 1990, over 32 years now. I have had and still have multiple businesses in different industries. I am not saying I know everything, but I know a lot. I have a lot of experience. Good and bad. I know succes does not come overnight. I have learned a lot and I am still learning. Every day. Because I believe in a life long learning. I have had many ups, but also a lot of downs. I has allowed me to grow as a person and as an entrepreneur. I have always been interested in a sustainable and conscious, healthy life. I love reading about it, I love watching documentaries and talking to and learning from people. Experts or not.

  7. Day 2 – Answer the first WHY question
I believe it is really important to live more sustainably. But since there is a lot of attention now for sustainability, there is also a lot of greenwashing which makes it for customers more difficult to decide who is genuine and who is not.

  8. Day 1 – Answer the WHO question
Who do I want to help? I want to help people that want to live (more) sustainably. I want to make their (sustainable) life more easy.

  9. Week 17 - Day 3 of 5 Why? I have been working for and for the municipal government for 25 years now. I know how to simplify things and make them manageable in complex administrative environments and social tasks. I love to teach, train and transfer my knowledge and experience to directors, executives and young professionals.

  10. Week 17 - Day 2 of 5 Why? I believe that leaders of public organizations should be trustworthy and the best leaders. They take their responsibility to give the best guidance and attention to the civil servants or public professionals to provide excellent service to every citizen and not to waste tax money. Therefore, leaders of public organizations (administratively complex organizations) should proudly and confidently take their place/position and play all-in.

  11. Week 17 - Day 1 of 5 Who? I help (future or starting) managers, directors and municipal secretaries to be the best manager for their organization or organizational unit. Such that they are able to fulfill their leadership potential (talent). These men and women, ages 35-50, struggle with their false modesty. They are shy and insecure about their current role towards colleges of mayor and aldermen. They want to move more easily and comfortably in politically/administratively complex contexts. Or they need help to realize collective leadership and cooperation between their civil servants, employees, public professionals with their management.

  12. All together
Who do I want to help: Parents (with family communication)

Why I do believe a nice world starts at home. I believe everything we are, do, think, want, value as a parent comes together in the way we talk to our kids. I believe it has no added value on key on doing what doesn't work in the communication with your kids I do believe that parents who educate themselves in family communication become above average since our only school is that we are raised ourself.

Why me? I worked with families for 30 years, specially with parents. And I love it! I raised 3 kids and Now it’s time to pass on all the information families can help to live a harmonious and joyfull life.

Why me? I worked with families for 30 years, specially with parents. I raised 3 kids Now it’s time to pass on all the information families can help to live a harmonious and joyfull life.

  13. Day 4:
    Where to take theme:

I will make sure that the family moments will be more in peace and that the struggle from the parents and childeren reagarding school stops and that the child can developpe there full potentional and the teacher will be more relaxed.

  14. Day 3 the second WHY:
I have over more then 25.000 ours of observation and working experience with parents and childeren beeing High Gifted.
There is almost no problem whether it be within the family or with regard to school that I have not already experience.
And in case there is a problem that I don't know, I have a very knowledgeable network that I can fall back on

  15. Day 5 - All together

I help women entrepreneurs who are not yet making a living from their business and feel overwhelmed with their multiple responsibilities of work and family.

I believe that life is too short to not do what you love, and that a busy work and family life is not an excuse for a thriving business. Don’t give up on your dream because the world needs your talent!

As a full time working mother with a side hustle I know how hard the pressure to “do it all” can feel .

Over the years I have developed an organization and productivity method that has allowed me and dozens of women to grow a business while still working in corporate and being present at home.

I have a talent for creating step by step methodologies that are easy to follow and feel simple and joyful and I am passionate about self care at body, mind and soul levels.

Let me take you to building a lifestyle you adore, to experiencing every day a feeling of flow, to implementing simplified processes and exciting projects that will grow your business and transform it into the ideal model according to your dreams and desires.

  16. Day 4 WHERE to take them

To a lifestyle they adore, to experiencing every day a feeling of flow, to having simplified processes and implementing exciting projects that grow their business and transform it into the ideal model according to their personal preferences and desires.

  17. Day 3 WHY - me

As a full time working mother with a side hustle I know how hard the pressure to “do it all” could feel .
Over the years I have developed an organization and productivity method that has allowed me and dozens of women to grow a business while still working in corporate and being present at home.
I have a talent for creating step by step methodologies that are easy to follow and feel simple and joyful and I am passionate about self care at body, mind and soul levels.

  18. Day 5 putting it together

Ok new try, without WHAT as you suggested Nisandeh....

    1. Who I want to help: Managers and professionals facing surmenage and burnout .

    2. first WHY? I belief that it is possible to keep managers and professionals more healthy and vital and prevent surmenage and burn out. I belief that it is possible to change people s stresscoping strategies and the copingstrategies in the organizations. I belief that it is possible to create vital and safe working environments for people. And I belief that companies are mostly helped by investing in vital and safe working-teams, because I belief that a lot of money can be saved, money that is now being spend on illness days and sickness. And I belief that if companies act on this that a lot of pain and stress professionals go through can be prevented.

    3. My second WHY : why am I qualified? I have been working 30 years in organizations and companies and did that in all sorts of working environments and teams. In poisonous environments I have seen a lot of professionals getting burned out. As a result, the organizations have to pay the illness days, the replacing and the sick personnel at home who were at even greater healthrisk. I have experienced burned out myself when I was a projectmanager and I have learned a lot from that situation. It even motivated me to get educated and certificated in stressreleasemethods and tools like communication-techniques, Non violent communication, feedback, counseling, mindfullness, massage techniques, psycho-fysical integration methods like Trager approach, breathingtechniques, maintenacce of a healthy vital teams, intervisionmethods for teams, training- and coaching techniques. And this all has resulted in my proven personal method and toolkit to prevent burn out in teams.

    4. – Answer the WHERE question – WHERE will I take you as a client?
My mission is: creating healthy and vital workteams in companies and organisations, meaning that managers in such a company will work with healthy and vital teams, where open communication and feeling safe at the working place is the standard and where teammanagers and professionals love to work because of the good atmosphere and the fact that there is company money available that can be put in their personal education and growth and vitality at work and also in daily balance at work and at home. Because there is a very low sicknessrate. And if you are a burned out teammanager or professional in such a company, you will get help in getting healthy and vital again, knowing who you are, what you need to keep your balance and what you can do and what you want and need in work.

I will change my ABOUT ME on my new website connected to my coming expertbook. This website action will be done before 1 th of november.

  19. Day 4
    Where?

I bring them to the expert-positioning they want to have.
They are able to state a clear and magnetic message,
they have a great offer and know their target audience,
the offer a exiting customer journey and they are able to market ans sell with ease.

    1. @cornelia.... the same for you as for Machiel... this is sparkling to nobody.... if I read your "where do you take me", I need to feel an urge that I need you for that, because I want to be there!

      Something like....

You can stop trying to be someone you're not. You are a unique, beautiful, mesmerizing creature, who effortlessly attracts her ideal clients. You know who you are, and you're proud of yourself. You are showing all of you, your authenticity is your brand. You dare to stand for who you are, because that IS who you are, and you know it. No need to hide your needs and wants under a layer of "this is how it should be done". Dare to step up, girl. Put on your crown and REIGN. Your authenticity is your power.

There. I wrote it for women, hope that's ok. But please find that passion in yourself and dare to blast it out, woman. This is so not you... BRAG! take your ideal client, multiply her results, and that is what you should show the world where you can take them! Screw customer journeys... you want PASSION. And believe me... if you find out where you are going to take these women, you also suddenly know perfectly well what to do, and you will get them there.

Sorry if I was blunt..., I think you needed it:)

PS I do believe in customer journeys, but its just a means to an end.

  20. WHERE am I going/ WHERE am I taking you?

"If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved its full potential, the word would be "meetings".

This sentence might make you think that meetings are a bad thing. The truth is... meetings are just meetings. A meeting is a tool, like a hammer. A hammer that you can use to build a house, or to kill someone. It doesn't make the hammer good nor bad.

The same goes for meetings. Depending on how it's used, it's valuable, or destructive.

Meetings can kill teams. And it can build teams.

Our way of working changes. One day we started to go to offices and factories together, where we worked together. Then we started to work together with people in other offices, in other places. Via phone lines, conference calls, but it was only a tiny part of our time- we mostly worked with our colleagues in the same place. And suddenly we can't travel anymore, and are forced to work from home, alone. It changes our perspective on the way we work. And we find out the incredible advantages of being able to plan our own time, being free to integrate working and private life in a way that fits us, without delivering less quality- on the contrary: we deliver more quality and quantity... the world is suddenly flexible and open!

Nobody knows for how long this situation will last until we get into the next phase. But this I do know. Remote working is here to stay. And that brings a challenge. We people need connection the way we need oxygen. We DIE without the feeling of belonging, without our relationships, connecting with people with a similar goal.

If we want remote working to work, we need to find ways to bring back the connection and feeling of belonging that diminished while working remote.

One way can be live meetings- teambuilding days or collective parties.
The other way, I believe, is much more important. To establish connection and feeling of belonging in the day-to-day business. In the moments that you are anyway meeting each other.

Here's where you can choose to use your meeting as an effective, valuable and building tool. I don't believe that meetings kill your work. I believe we never used it in the right way- and we never did, also not when we did them live. But there we had the glue surrounding it where we connected and belonged.

Find ways to connect in the times that you see each other. In meetings, during the day in a chat channel, having an online coffee together, or whatever works for you. Build your loyal and connected team during the daily work, not just with the yearly teambuilding.

Your team will be thriving, working independently, on a mutual goal, feeing mutually responsible, feeling connected in striving for the best results, and feeling part of a whole, where they can add their uniqueness, their qualities, their skills. Each in their own way. No matter where they are... because location is irrelevant.

  21. We discussed this as buddies this morning and agreed that we would share the Dutch version here, incorporating the feedback from each other. For those who do not master the Dutch language, I have also added the English translation.

    The English version:

As a trainer and coach I help specialists in their development to manager. I believe in connecting the manager with his team, allowing them to be authentic and effective. A leader who knows himself and his employees through and through and has the ability to get the best out of each other together. By allowing employees to grow above themselves while remaining deeply connected to the other team members, a manager develops into a leader who grows above himself.

I experienced this feeling myself and it was a turning point in my life. At 34 years old I trained difficult and annoying teenagers between the ages of 14 and 16 as a handball trainer. They couldn't catch a ball and after two years they went through fire for each other and became second in the provincial class. This touched me so much that I had this influence on others when my father had told me all my life that I am nobody and can do nothing. As a child I learned to predict the unpredictable behavior of my father, which made me think and act strategically and develop a unique talent: Within half an hour I discover what hinders someone the most.

I became a specialist in communication myself and developed into a manager and I had no clue what was expected of me as a manager. I lost the joy in my job and decided to become a trainer and coach and passed as the best of all trainees.

You will experience so much more fun in leadership if you invest as much as possible in the relationship with your employees. We are a group animal, team players, because since our existence we have only been able to survive as a group. It is in our genes to be able to connect emotionally.

The speed with which our environment has changed has put pressure on the values that bind us together as a team. As a result, people distort in their behavior and they become separated from themselves and they lose connection with others. Because I let managers discover their dominant core, they get direction in what they find important as a manager, are good at and what they like. They develop an authentic and effective leadership style, which gives them more pleasure in leading.

By becoming so intensely connected to your core, you stay true to yourself. You learn to become emotionally connected with yourself and with your team. You develop value-driven behavior and you are no longer guided by pressure. You build a team with employees who go through fire for each other.

After my father passed away, I found his personal notes and discovered a person I could identify with very much. This remained invisible to me throughout his life due to his distorted behavior. This has been my biggest inspiration to develop a system that works for me and all my clients and brings you closer to the behavior of who you want to be as a leader.

    1. Hi Marcel

You tried your best! I honestly think it's too long and the order isn't quite right either
My feeling is that it is best to read everything again, and remove what is superfluous / not necessary (what Nisandeh said last Thursday).

      Anyway, I'd start with this:

Ik help specialisten in hun ontwikkeling naar manager.
Ik verbind de manager met zijn team waarbij ze authentiek en effectief mogen zijn waardoor ze samen het beste uit elkaar halen. Hierdoor stijgen de medewerkers en de manager boven zichzelf uit en blijven ze diep verbonden met de andere teamleden.
Dit gevoel heb ik zelf ervaren en vormde een keerpunt in mijn leven. (en het stukje over je vader wat korter maken).

So first who do you help. What are you doing. Why. What did you experience (as a child with your father and as a trainer and coach) and then the last part.

And you sometimes talk about leaders, managers, team members and then you talk in 'you form'. Maybe take a look at that too. Who are you writing the piece for?

Hope that you find them useful

      1. Hi Sigrid,

Thank you for taking the time to read my text. I'm going to work on it today. A text can always be better.

A question also arose in my mind that I will ask Nisandeh on Wednesday: Where does this text of positioning come into its own?

What I'm struggling with now is my text on LinkendIn with which I empathize with my target group through the research I've done. The confusion that has now arisen with me, do you present yourself with a text that empathizes with your target group or do you provide the text I wrote as a result of last week?

        1. Hi Marcel

I think you are doing great on this WOMB program so love to follow you (if I can).

About LinkedIn, I guess you can write a sentence in your bio who you are now and who you help and why.
I changed my bio and my 'welcome mail' to my ideal clients in a way that we are thougth last week.

          Hope it helps

  22. Where am I going/ will I bring them/you:

I believe in the power of creative thinking, non-lineair thinking and an enormous amount of energy while doing so. I help with building great teams when individuals thrive and feel proud. I help to unleash this potential.

  23. why am I qualified:

I have had both a burn-out and a bore-out. It were highlights of my life! The burn-out because I love to start new things up until the moment that I cannot handle and oversee everything. Like with projects. I was in many, as an urbanist. I really wanted to get things going... and then those stop halfway, don't work or I get zero appreciation. Killing. The bore-out was due to the same reasons, things just didn't excite me- there are so many stupid projects that nobody knows why they are there. Low hanging fruit will not change the world, it will kill the harvest later on. My way of thing is to aim for the higher fruit, then the low fruit you can pick along the way. Highlights because both showed me that the normal way of doing projects suck and that I wanted to find a better way and do a better job.

The first project I ran as a junior was to provide a biking cross track. Children had formally asked for such a track, and the municipality had granted their wish by just saying 'yes lets do it'. Super cool. However, there was no budget, no location, no period given. Colleagues cynically said: 'just wait a while, it will fly over- everyone will forget about it.'
Unspeakable! This was the children's first experience with democracy. It needed to be a good one! Also, they are children- yesterday is already far away. So the track needed to be there quick. I feel this responsibility towards all projects I work on (that I find important)- they are always based on trust. Don't spill that.
So I designed a process that the kids were involved in every step of the way, from help with designing the track, choosing the builder to to defending it in the city council. We celebrated the track within a year (which everyone considers short...! can you believe!) with a huge party including a stunt show from local cross bikers! Projects need to deliver smiles.

For a structure vision I designed a game to help the city council, groups fro society and civilians could choose their favorite future. The process was set around that game. It caused that discussions changed into dialogue and competitors and political opponents into co-operators. In the end the city council told it felt as their plan, not a plan they just had to sign. It was unanimously signed. That for me is a huge succes: to be able to bring people together around a subject that matters and together go for it!

Not much later I encountered Agile and Scrum, Storytelling, Appreciative Inquiry and other methods. I am not a method-man, but nothing is as practical as a good theory (Curt Lewin). I started experimenting and from experience I now know: most projects can be done (or make huge progress) in 2 to 4 weeks. The first step is to Optimize Focus, Co-operation and Enthusiasm and teams will fly. So that is what I help with.

Instead of raving about my own successes, I rather let others do that. What other people tell about it me helping with their projects:
Bas turns complex situation into solutions with perspective
Under his guidance we have set multiple milestones, even long after he left.
Within 4 weeks we were a tight and good working team.
We would have never come this far without him.
Working with Bas guarantees the right amount of energy in a team to create passion projects from heavy burdens.
I worked like this on close to 30 projects and experiments. Longer projects we cut into smaller blocks of 2-4 weeks, in that way we keep on experimenting our way forward and create results.

Also, I love to teach and mentor that what I know. Therefor it feels like a privilege to educate and guide facilitators, scrum masters, product owners, managers from within organizations. To be frank, most of the times they have to get used to me and my approach. I can be quite full-on and expect a lot of them. Let's say I have a lot of trust in people and a big heart: I want them to succeed. I coached around 25 people on/in-the-job.

By the way, not all projects and experiments work out to be great. Some fail. Sometimes I fail. At times we first fail and then succeed. Or the other way around. Failing hurts. Therefor reflections and evaluations are mandatory for working with me. And not just at the end- thought out the project, on a weekly base even. Because failing is only failing when we don't learn from it. Even if that means that what we learn is to stop.

    1. Half done- need tot week these... just written from the mind.

      second why
I love to share my experience and knowledge with others. Therefor I try to guide, teach and mentor people from within the organization. In this way the knowledge necessary to facilitate stays within the team and organization.
becomes a system to learn and grow better. In my view projects are learning mechanisms to create super outcomes and superteams.

Combine the power of people so their combined creativity makes them excel. I remember a team member state in the second reflection moment (so after two weeks of work) that the quality of the work done was to low. Everybody was shocked by hearing this, it was not the general idea of what was accomplished. Then he shrug with amazement on his face: 'No! I am wrong. The quality is great, the teamwork was great. I just cannot believe that we did this in just such a short period of time! In my head: then the quality must be low.'

It is such a shame that projects are often seen as mere task related output machines. In my view that is working without respect and responsibility. Team members are reduced to human resources, clients are not even in the picture. Then what is the value a team and organization delivers? as a team we need to go deeper ....
Empower individuals and teams. I help switch on their creative thinking skills and empower them take collective ownership of the outcomes they create.

      --------
      first why
I believe in courage and creativity. I expect that half of the projects should be stopped, or better not even get started. But yet, people need to put time and energy into them- while these projects are set up to fail. It is without respect, almost criminal in my view, to be so careless with people's lives. I believe that people are empowered best when they have the freedom and trust to come up with creative and innovative ideas ánd be able to experiment with these. I believe in the power of words. Good and wrong are labels that kill self-esteem and ownership. As a collective, we need to change these words versions that do justice to people's effort and spirit.

I believe in the power of humanity (menselijkheid), kindness and connection. I see that when people meet each other as humans and not as functions, they can break through existing patterns and see each other. From that deeper sense of understanding of each others wishes and needs, collective ownership can come to fruition. Then an enormous amount of energy and enthusiasm awakenes to pro-actively help and deliver. I believe that there don't need to be winners and losers, life does not need to be a zero sum game. 'Just' forget about all the labels and roles we play. I feel morally inspired to do so wherever I come!

  24. Day 4. Where am I going, where am I taking you (I will answer this for the broader vision behind the whole of my programs, not for just one of the individual ones)
I am here to enhance your self-reliance and control with regard to topics that greatly govern grown-up & societal life, while our educational system has hardly prepared you for that. Current topics of choice are [1] “business / organizations” (why have we not learned how companies work, if we have to deal with them or even work in them all the time?), [2] “self-development” (why have we not learned how to shape ourselves and our lives, if we are at the core of everything we do?), [3] “thinking” (why have we not learned how thinking works, but rather had to absorb a lot of stuff of debatable relevance, and only scratched the surface of what thinking actually entails?). By bringing you integral views on these domains, you’ll get to see what it all entails, so that you at least have the full perspective, and can start taking back control on whichever part you want.

    1. It is so powerful what you say and it so doesn't come across Machiel, because it's very... not emotional. I hope you understand what I mean... would you be ok if I rewrote this for you and see if that might resonate? or is that very arrogant... it's just that i think there is so much in what you do and have to give, and it needs to touch the string more than it does now to get the message across...

(for anyone who is frowning on my offer- Machiel is one of my buddies:))

    2. OK something like this, I was thinking.

The world is changing faster than ever. And no matter what you learned at school, the thing you didn't learn, was to be prepared for whatever happens. Nobody taught us how to deal with money. How to create lasting relationships. With others, and within ourselves. To take responsibility- to create our own reality, instead of being the victim of what happens around us. To ask the right questions, instead of giving the correct answers.

It's time to take the control back. You are perfectly capable of designing your own ideal life. From the beginning of ages wise men and women thought about how to do so, and you can and will stand on their shoulders. You are confident on what you know- and on what you don't know. You don't take anything for granted, but question it, only keeping what you discover as valuable, finding your own truth. No more voices telling you what you "should" or "shouldn't" do. You. You tell you what to believe, and what to do. You will know what is your sweet spot, and where your added value lies in this world. So you can start leaving a legacy.

@machiel it can be that I'm completely off... I just tried to vision what it would like, if someone would finish all your courses - and more.

  25. WEEK 17 DAY 4 – Answer the WHERE question

You achieve inner peace and live from increasing wisdom.

    >>I am going to create my positioning statement by answering the 4 positioning questions.<<

  26. Day 3
    Why am I qualified?

I am - what Barbara Sher called - a scanner.
A multipassionate person and I managed to position the most sucking customer in the world - myself.
Out of my journey I created a methode which helped hundreds of business owners to position boldly in the last 10 years.
They never had to choose one passion. I found a way to condence everything they are into a service others want and need.
My experience and knowlegde evolved over the years which made me faster.
Now a whole positioning as a personal brand is possible within one day.

  27. Where:
I take you to a deeper understanding of your inner patterns and worlds and from the those around you. I bring you more inner freedom so you can live your potentional, for yourself, for your loved ones in your work and for the world around you
I bring you new eyes to see yourself in connection with that wich is bigger then you.
I can open you up to psychological and spiritual depts
U open you up to deeper layers of feeling and a renewel in your thinking
I can tough and bring alive your trust that you are able to change and offer you tailormade ways how to do that.
U can bring you into a reset on many levels in your life.

  28. 4. WHERE do you want to take them? I want to take them to an allover improvement in communication. From there, I want to develop a deeper relationship between them and strengthen their mutual connection. And I want to show them that together as companies, we can help create a better world by undertaking common projects with our business partners (or even a community or charity project with them).

  29. 3. WHY are you qualified? After my studies I went to France to live there and have seen firsthand how big not only the language differences, but also the cultural differences are between the Netherlands and France. After that I have worked for twelve years in different companies, that were doing business with different countries, for the most part Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom and France. And, while working with suppliers and I have seen the language and cultural differences between all of these countries. And all the problems (misunderstandings, communication problems and mistakes) that may derive from those differences.

  30. Day 4

    Where I take my client.

I’m gonna help you to become the best version of yourself so you can become the best version of the leader of your company and your personal life. Together we will find out what your purpose is on Earth why do you matter. We are all one and nobody should be alone even though it’s lonely at the top we will do it together. Why are you here it’s not only to make money it’s not only to grow your business it’s not only to have an exciting life what is the real essence of your being together we will find it out. I believe in you and I’m sure that when you spend the time and can bring up to discipline you can give back to the world to your business to your family to your friend to everybody. Together we can.

  31. So first I am rewriting my day 2 answer to add clarity and give it more emotional power.
And keep the feedback coming please! I am already getting results from my new positioning and I want it to spark!

Day 2. Why do I want to help them?
I believe people are magnificent, powerfull beings, capable of almost anything imaginable. And I see most people wasting their talents. And I know that good trainers and coaches can help us to achieve results beyond our imagination.

When I can help a coach to increase their effectiveness, they help their clients. That is the unique thing about this group of people. They empower others.

Day 3. Why am I capable?

I have followed several trainings and coaching paths. Every time it has had a significant positive impact on my skills and my live. It helped me to:
    - cooperate better
    - increase profitablity
    - become disciplined
    - plan my life and business
    - have better relationships

The concrete results in my life are:
    - That I bought a games company (Sunny Games), expanded to Europe and Asia, sold the company again.
    - I started a family .
    - I own my own home.

So when I decided to become a coach, I had big expectations. After finishing my coaching education I was ready to change the world!!! And no one showed up. I realised that my coaching school had failed to teach me one thing: How to reach people.

I realised that what I had done for Sunny Games, I now had to do for my coaching business Improve Your Tomorrow. The biggest change? I stopped making what I thought people needed and started offering what people asked for. And then the company grew. And I grew with it.

What did people ask for? Exactly the thing I realised my coaching education did not offer me. Marketing and product development. Things I had learned to master in the Sunny Games days.

Because I loved working with other trainers and coaches, they became my clients. And every time I saw someone take a step in the right direction, I could offer it to my other clients as well. And suddenly, everyone is benefitting. Together we created a reinforcing cycle of growth. Do you want to join?

Day 4. Where are we going
Improve your Tomorrow is about improving everyone's tomorrow. By working with us you are joining a community that is about personal leadership and having a positive impact on the world.

Imagine what you can learn from your colleagues. Imagine which cooperations will be possible. Today you might be independent, but tomorrow we can be interconnected, sharing services, locations and knowledge.

Today, what I want for you is to become a better a coach. Tomorrow, what I want for you is to grow beyond what is even possible right now.

  32. Day 2

I believe that every person on earth is unique and precious to others.
You just need to define your uniqueness, find out what advantage others have because of you and show up.

  33. Day 4

With my knowledge and know-how I can ensure that my ideal client (the healthcare professional) knows exactly how best to give her ideal customer/client (someone with sensitive intestines and various complaints) the right advice and know-how so that this person can have a better life again and can lead a much better and happier life.
I can ensure that the healthcare professional also becomes an expert in this field.

  34. 2. WHY do you want to help them? I believe that if we come to a better mutual understanding, our connection is stronger. And that if we all have a better connection and understanding, we are helping to create a better world. I believe that there is a lot more potential in working with French clients than most business owners realize. That a lot of money and business opportunities are lost because of failures in working with French clients. And that when we understand the French better, the working relationship and the business success on both sides can be greatly improved.

  35. Day 3 - Why I am qualified, and
Day 4 Where am I going/Where am I taking you?

    WHY I am qualified:

    - I was a designer for Domino Day for 6 years (2004-2010) and had to come up with creative ideas for domino-setting / patterns / mechanics / techniques to tell a story with toppling Domino's. So I am a professional creative storyteller. Now I've connected that to my passion wich is making animations.
    - And I have been doing this for over 8 years and customers keep coming back to me.
Customers like VodafoneZiggo, Achmea, ABN AMRO bank, Unilever, Trimbos Instituut, and many, many more.

Where I will go / Where I will take you.

I'm becomming (I am?) the nr. 1 whiteboard animation company in the Netherlands. Nowhere you will find a more unique, personal animation production company that will WOW you with the results.
I will take you to the point where you don't have to sell your product anymore, but people will come to you, asking to do business with you, because they saw your animation and now they understand how you can help them.
