IMPORTANT!
In this Build Your Expert Position block of the Working ON My Business program we are NOT going to cover HOW TO write the book you conceived last week.
If you wish to write your book using my proven method, then head to the Business University course:ย Write Your Book in 28 Days.
HOWEVER… in the BONUS workshop of September 29, I will share my NEW and very different method to write a very specific expert book (in the direction of: What to Expect When You’re Expecting), answering EXACTLY the questions your audience is asking, in the shortest possible time, and with the minimum effort.
I will give you more details in a couple of weeks, but if you’re interested – make sure to RESERVE the evening of September 29th.
The True Potential of Your Expertise
You probably worked so hard to create your product or service – that you donโt have a clue – how much more potential it has.
Your product or service is only a seed that contains your potential – your expertise.
You need to plant it, you need to nourish it & water it and when you do that โ your product or service will grow to become a money tree.
Your product or service is the seed โ that contains your expertise – your potential.
And in today’s WOMB lesson, you’re going to find out my favorite strategy – how you unlock your expertise full potential.

Let’s start with your MINDSET…
Your product or service is the seed…
The seed can develop and grow many, many, many more products and services, which are extremely beneficial to your target audience, and very lucrative for you.
You have in your head so much more to share with the world, and all you need to learn is how to structure and extract that knowledge, information, expertise…

Set your GOAL for this week…
Here’s a great goal for you:
I am going to develop the concept for 6 new products/services.
How’s that for a 5-day challenge?

Choose the STRATEGY you will use…
Here is the simple process you could follow in order to develop the concept for (at least) 6 new products/services that will be life-transforming to your clients and prospects and very lucrative for you:

PLAN your actions in your agenda…
Your next step is to physically plan this process in your agenda.
Plan toย invest 10-15 minutes EVERY DAY in the coming 5 days to follow the process above.

Now it’s time to IMPLEMENT…
Take 10 minutes, right now, and…
- Day 1 – come up with as many “lessons” as you can as I explain in the video above;ย
- Day 2ย – for each one of the topics you brainstormed yesterdayย come up with 3 stepsย as I explain in the video;
- Day 3 – choose the top 6 “lessons” you want to start with; AND for each one of those choose your preferred format (e.g. a video course, a live training, a Zoom workshop, a book, a podcast, a PDF report, etc…)
- Day 4ย –ย choose one product/service (from the 6 you chose yesterday) you want to start withย and write who exactly is the target audience for that product/service, what’s its purpose, how much will it cost, give it a title and a tagline, and include any other important information;
- Day 5 –ย take the product/service you chose yesterday – and for each one of the 3 steps – create an outline of the most important points you want to cover as well as a catchy title (and optional tagline)
Each day share with usย in the comment box your ideas, topics and actions.
My commitment to you…
- I’m looking forward to read your process and ideas below;
- I will be there for you on Wednesday to support you with any question, challenge or setback you encounter;
- I’m looking forward to celebrate your progress and results on Friday (I’m curious to hear the goal(s) and plan you’ll come up with).
Live fully, stay awesome,
Nisandeh

Day 5
This week was not the right assignment for me/my business. I tried to think outside the box but since I have a load of products in my webshop, I am not looking for services I can create. However, I did make some plans that I can maybe execute when I have people to help me with the shop. My customers expect me to deliver what they order and to come up with nice new brands/products. I tell them stories in my (future) video's and the blogs and socmed postings I write.

Thatโs OKโฆ no worry, Marielleโฆ
I read how you went through this weekโs process, and in the paradigm you live in now (owning a webshop and being alone - so need to sell, sell, sell) then you did it as best as you could.
I do hope that one day youโll realize or could manifest the idea of a brand community - and thatโs where everything we discussed and practiced will fall into place.

Day 4 โ choose one product/service
My target audience is anyone that is interested in sustainable products/clothes and wants to make his/her life more sustainable. I want to show the fun of it and how colorful it can be.

Day 3 โ choose the top 6 โlessonsโ you want to start with
I do not offer lessons, I offer products...
Since I am busy with making a video, I would choose this medium to show my products and tell my stories.

Day 2 โ for each one of the topics you brainstormed yesterday come up with 3 steps as explained in the video
I took on some new brands. As I said before I sell actual products, so the steps I could take are: writing a blog, making a video and maybe a podcast about the different new products I have or plan to have. Eventually I will build a community but with just me, myself and I, I have to focus on the things I cรกn do at the moment. And that is selling, selling and selling (without actual selling). By telling the stories behind the products. It is the stories that 'sell' the products...

Day 1 โ come up with as many โlessonsโ as you can
I am not sure how I am going to do this. I sell actual products. So maybe in a newsletter or a blog I can tell about sustainability since that is what my webshop is about. But lessons goes a bit far. I tell about the why of my products and that they help to make the world a little bit better. So, I am a bit at a loss here.

Day 4- choose one product/service (from the 6 you chose yesterday) you want to start with and write who exactly is the target audience for that product/service, whatโs its purpose, how much will it cost, give it a title and a tagline, and include any other important information;
I will choose how to build a hybrid team.
TA: companies with 100+ employees who can do most of their work alone and are doing their work partially (for at least 50%) at home.
Purpose: How to make sure you create a team that, even though they're working on a distance, will stay connected with the company, feel at home, stay loyal and won't have a reason to leave.
How much will it cost? oh... that's a tricky one... I was actually thinking in first writing the book so I can collect all the information and structure it, and only then turn it into a product. If I would turn it into a product, it would be a year program. Ohhh now I am turning on! Because I'm thinking about how I would create it and what type of meetings I would give, what kind of assessments, I would give them ideas for Friday afternoon drinks, this is actually FANTASTIC. I think I should do it the other way around! Epic. Then I would give it the cost of one employee leaving. Because that's a fantastic ROI I think for this company.
Outline of most important points:
1. It will have 6 monthly meetings with pizza in the office, together. They will all have the combination of learning something new (work/life balance, communication, working together, productivity, how to do effective brainstorming, a session on knowledge and how to quickly move it from one person to another) and play with lots of energizers and fun
2. I will give them ideas for 12 epic friday afternoon meetup ideas;
3. I will create a daily question that they can all answer together, a simple but exciting one, on a specific page where only their team has access to;
4. They will get a training in how to facilitate their meetings more effectively
Product Name: Creating a Happy Loyal Hybrid Team
tagline- how to keep your team connected on a distance
Would love to hear other ideas, but I'm aware I'm late with filling in the assignment.

Day 4 and 5 one product further elaborated
Product: instead of what I wrote/thought last Wednesday this topic wil become a blog with a call to action to the workshop How to create a Product Owner Community/Guild
My target audience are Product Owners who are working in de public sector
Purpose: learning and sharing knowledge together
I also tried to incorporate the lesson from yesterdays Hot Seat session with Nisandeh to use a specific structure.
1. Title and tagline
How to create a Product Owner Community/Guild
โHow do you help your organization to get strong product ownersโ
2. Problem
Product Owners mainly work on their own small โislandโ without learning from others.
There is no unambiguous way of working in the organisation.
3. Pain
Everyone is reinventing the wheel. They keep making the same mistakes. This takes extra time, effort and frustration.
Clients, users and teammembers are not supportive and even maybe a bit hostile
4. The solution (What)
Share your experiences
Listen to the experiences of others
Hear success stories
Ask for feedback/intervision
So bottumline: Create a Product Owner Guild
In the blog I will stop here and write a call to action: If you want to learn more about Guilds and how to create/start a Guild in your organisation just sign up for the workshop.
5. The Solution (How)
The creation of the Guild (or community) is what you learn in the workshop
1. How it all starts (Guild)
2. Guilds nowadays
3. Organisation
4. Develop a program of a Guild meeting
5. Inspiration for topics
6. Examples for working methods
In terms of costs is all the information at hand and it will take half a day to finalise and tune the workshop. For my clients the (online) workshop will cost โฌ975,- and when they do start a Guild the bonus is that I will be present at the first gathering.

Day 5 09/16/2022

Share your ideas, topics and actions with us every day in the comment box.
Linear versus circular thinking:
Online course via Facetime/Youtube
1. What is linear thinking and how does it work?
I immediately implement the lessons learned from yesterday's Q&A:
Title: Learn to tackle persistent problems in the workplace more effectively
The problem:
You have now tried so many times to solve a problem and yet your solution has no effect. You do everything you can to ensure that your staff works better together, arrives on time, takes more responsibility, exchanges important information and despite your fantastic solutions: the situation does not change.
The pain:
It seems like they have a board for their heads. That they don't want to understand and don't take you seriously as a manager. You become more and more frustrated and you don't see it anymore.
Practice with the following case to gain insight into your approach:
Present a case with a problem as an assignment to solve it, so that the linear approach becomes visible.
A brief explanation of what linear thinking and approaching problems in this way means.
2. The solution
What is circular thinking and how does it work?
The What:
- Explain theory about circular thinking.
- Giving examples of ineffective systems
3. Present the same problem, but this time approach it circularly to solve it.
The How
Step 1: unravel many possible beliefs, values โโand information about their mutual relationship
Step 2: What questions do you want to ask them now?
Step 3: What options do you see now to tackle this problem
retrieve results and compare with the linear solution.
Call to action:
If you find this valuable, then you also find win-win creation from opposing interests interesting.

WEEK 13 DAY 5 - Create an outline
Take the product/service you chose yesterday โ and for each one of the 3 steps โ create an outline of the most important points you want to cover as well as a catchy title (and optional tagline)
I am really having fun with this. It seems that everything is coming to live. I will dive into my new audience, I am feeling the love and so will they ๐
Short video about โLetting goโ.
Step 1. Why oh Why do we keep holding on?
Here I paint a picture the viewer can relate to. The problem is introduced, the pain is touched, the why will be clear.
Step 2. What is letting go, really?โจHere I describe the proces of letting go in big steps. The common view on it and the problem with this view. Then I introduce a different view and the part of the solution about what to do to be able to let go.
Step 3. Whatโs in it for you?
I give insight in what it really brings to let go according to this different view. Then the CTA: If they want to know HOW to let go, they can buy my e-book โLooking at life differentlyโ.

Day 4. So I have this product that I really like, but it is totally not working. I will transform it into a different product starting in january.
I present Entrepreneurial Collective - Unmissable business skills for coaches and trainers.
The idea
Create 12 separate online live trainings to be given monthly under a recognisable name. Work together with other experts to offer the best possible value.
Make an irresistable offer around joining several trainings instead of just one of them.
Record all trainings to create 12 online products.
I am considering to make the first training evening free for each training, so people can decide whether or not they want to join.
I might add on a VIP coaching option where people can be supported in implementing what they learned.
Target Audience:
My previous and existing clients - self dependant coaches and trainers, as well as recently started entrepreneurs.
The purpose
For them: To break the cycle of perfectionism around blogging and start producing.

โ choose a product/service (from the 6 you chose yesterday) that you want to start with and write down who exactly the target group is for that product/service, what the purpose is, how much it will cost, give it a title and a slogan and any other important information;
I go for Linear versus circular thinking and focus on managers.
The aim is for managers to tackle ineffective systems in the workplace.
I want to offer it online to work directly with a payment system and gain experience with it. For the time being, I opt for a price indication between โฌ20 and โฌ35. I see it mainly as a first experiment to sell services online. If this is successful, more will follow.

The first 6 are the most common weapons used in our martial arts. So, those are quite logical. The Qigong/Meditation I'd like to do first because it's more different than people would expect from me, even though I started teaching Qigong before I started teaching martial arts. A clear and steady mind also improves everything you learn after that.
Qigong/meditation will be for any prospect/student starting at the age of 12. It will be free, opt-in and not necessarily for martial artists but it will be tailored to that specific audience. The goal is to get more people to know me and be able to contact them through email. It will only take me a few hours to write a small script, record and do a bit of editing.
Still have to come up with some tagline. Want to make a series of some sort.

To be honest, Iโm struggeling with the program. I like the lessons I learn and I do see all the potential. On the other hand Iโm very tired physically and mentally lately so I can't get to everything in terms of assignments. I also feel like I'm letting my buddies down because of that.
I've decided to really get on with the assignments now. This week's assignment certainly helps with that. I was therefore able to complete the assignments of the first three days in one go.
This assignment also has helped me to get one step closer to my real expertise. I've been struggling with that since the assignment about being an expert.
So my goal for this week is: I am going to develop the concept for 6 new products/services.

At the moment I am very excited! Today's assignment really got me thinking. There is a connection between all the lessons ... is there perhaps a specific order? A way to build them up in intensity and price? And what would be the format for each? It's been quite a puzzle. I think I got it now, but I'm open to questions about my choices. I didn't choose these lessons all by myself; I consulted my buddies Nanda and Marie-Louise, because they understand the clients I am targeting now (highly sensitive women in their late fifties, who have accomplished a lot in their lives and are ready to embark on a new path).

Day 3 14-09-22
โ choose the top 6 โlessonsโ you want to start with; AND choose your preferred format for each of these (e.g. video course, live training, Zoom workshop, book, podcast, PDF report, etcโฆ)
The hard part about this assignment is choosing the form, because I'm struggling with a payment system. I want to make it easy for my customers to pay immediately and I want to continue to use my accounting program myself. So far I create an invoice, send the invoice and process it when the invoice is paid. I also ask this question today in the Q&A: Who has experience with their own website on which a customer can pay immediately? What payment system do you recommend and is it easy to use?
Linear versus circular thinking:
Online webinar via Facetime/Youtube
1. What is linear thinking and how does it work?
Present a problem as an assignment to solve.
2. What is circular thinking and how does it work?
- Explain theory about circular thinking.
- Giving examples of ineffective systems
3. Present the same problem, but this time approach it circularly to solve it.
- retrieve results and compare them with the linear solution.
How do you create win-win in conflicting interests
Physical workshop
1. Explain the method using an example with opposing interests
2. Preparing a conversation by groups for an assignment with opposing interests.
In preparation:
- Name the opposing interests
- which values โโare below
- Discover a common interest or a common value.
3. Conducting conversations as an exercise with the goal: Maximizing the common interest or value.

I see a lot of options to give this all away for 'free' or for a very small fee with a 100% guarantee or something. A lot of it is just basics, which makes them hungry for more. If not, I didn't have to spend my time on them. But having a lot of this in any form will definitely put me out there as an expert. Also as an expert that isn't afraid of sharing, which most people in my business are. Besides my normal program, I think it would be great if I can connect this content to my VIP product as well as regular classes.
Small steps... lets make a few of these first. Not that it all stays an idea until... never.

This is/ was very valuable.
I am implementing this strategy a little different than asked.
For the middle part of the book I am writing- I was not so sure how to bridge the first and last part, what information to give- how to be coherent, complete but not overly excessive in information.
The chapters had 'catchy' titles already, but I will see how to catchy-them-up a nudge.
I already made a chapter selection, header and structure, creating the main storyline.
The last 3 hours I have been 'simply' doing this exercise for every chapter- and created the whole middle part.
When these chapters are done, I will revise the first and last part of the book in this same way.
This middle part is also supposed to be the main structure for workshops. That is set now also in essence.
I am not sure if I will work-out the rest of the questions for this week, I think i will first want to write the chapters.
Thanks Nisandeh, you brought a different angle in explaining this, that suddenly clicked.

Oh and it changed my mood towards this 'middle' part completely. From something I wanted to be perfect because it was important (workshops and business wise), to something I can't wait to finish writing now....
